Best bar EVER
by trueblvr41
I recently returned from a trip to San Francisco and all I can talk about is this bar. It's the perfect bar - great selection, freindly bartenders, great prices (the happy hour is the best I've ever seen), a good jukebox, air hockey, pool, and foosball. I only wish I didn't have to leave it. Hands down, my favorite bar ever, would easily recommend it to anyone!
- Pros: Beer selection, bartenders, prices
- Cons: NONE
Is it a dream or is it real?

Kennedy's pub and curry house has the best beer selection and mouth-watering Indian cuisine, not to mention an original South Indian menu, with dining until 1 am. It's hard to say what is drawing celebrities and musicians to Kennedy's: the foosball, internet jukebox, venue across the street, or location. Places like this don't really exist, except in dreams.
- Pros: Voted Best Indian Cuisine in San Francisco. North and South Indian Cuisine.
Great food, drinks, watch the game
by johnantler
This is one place that the locals cherish. You can eat good food, including beers, for under $20. What more can you ask for? They even have DirecTV sports packages, so you can watch just about any game live. Multiple happy hours and "buy now drink later" token system makes Kennedy's unbeatable in San Francisco. Try it, you'll like it! Check out their web site for discount food coupon.
- Pros: 33 draft beers and 2 for 1 happy hour. sports on direcTV, 10 large HDTV screens
Great beer and great Indian food
by MLMartin32
strange combo but it is wonderful. It's and older musty place and there is plenty of space. There is a little outdoor patio with tables and chairs that you can enjoy your drink as well as smoke if you want to. Got great flat screen tvs so it's a fine place to watch a sporting event. Pool tables etc. I will definitely go back to this place.
Sally!!
by southco
Place is a little dirty, and the layout is not that great, and they only serve beer and wine, but bartender Sally is the bomb! I probably will turn around and walk out if she's not there, but if she is......mmmmmm....I'll stay there all night......
- Pros: Sally, Sally, Sally
- Cons: There's not more than one Sally
crazy combo
by audreyjl
but worth a trip! Very yummy indian food and it's paired up with a great neighborhood sports bar. There are several pool tables and the place is huge! I wasn't too sure about it the first time i went but i had a great time, had good beer and good food. Will definitely be returning.
- Pros: food, drinks and sports
- Cons: if you don't like the smell of curry...
good place for beer and indian food
by arashbabaki
If you are looking for food and beer, this is a good one. No romantoic fancy shmancy. Don't go there for a first date!

San Francisco's best kept secret
by vprashant
Well, its just perfect. Irish pub with dozens of beer on tap AND indian food to order till 1am. You can order your favorite beer and have it samosas or pakodas or perhaps a full fledged order with naan and curries. The kitchen is pretty full-fledged and even south indian cuisine is served. Kennedy's has pool tables, foosball, hockey tables..etc. It is just perfect for a full night out. Its going to be difficult to beat this place. Perfection is hard to improve.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Great beer, Great food
Best Little Neighborhood Pub In SF
by beachdog
I travel to San Francisco on business trips occaisonally and I'm always looking for places that are the real San Francisco, not touristy. A colleague recommended Kennedy's and I owe him big. It doesn't look like much when you first walk in, that was my first clue that I might've stumbled onto something. It's a little dark, very low-key, but ripe with atmosphere. Everyone I met was friendly, and they covered the spectrum, like a microcosm of the whole city in this one place. At first I thought the combination of Irish pub/Indian curry house was a bit strange, but then I remembered where in the world I was. The food was great, especially the Tandoori Chicken. Since that initial visit, I've been back several times. I can't wait to get back again.
- Pros: Food, Beer Selection, Elaine the bartender
- Cons: let me see..., there must be..., one. Nope, all good.
