A word of Advise take their card and call ahead for pick up! you can always change your mind and eat there ;) The lines are ridiculous and for a great reason, every plate is screaming.

Lots of options, no vegetarian options, though. Glen Park doesn't have that many options, so it gets really crowded any time around the peak dinner times.

  • Pros: Simple and easy, good food
  • Cons: Gets very crowded at peak times

Never a disappointment with the food from La Corneta near the Glen Park bart station. Spent many a Friday nights picking up take out for the family. Just be careful, the line gets very long.

The best thing about this place is the food -- everything I've tried is delicious, fresh and made right before your eyes. The downside is the lines -- they can stretch serpentine-like through the place at times -- and the resulting back-up of items that are cooked on the grill. If the grill cook misses your order, for some reason it is hard for the staff to get back on track in a timely manner. With that said, the food itself is worth a fair amount of hassle and grief -- try the Super Prawn Quesadillas; they're super-delicious!

  • Pros: Delicious, fresh food
  • Cons: Long lines and sometimes poor service

I have been going to La Corneta since it first opened up while I was in middle school, back when it was a quarter of the size it is know and when they gave away free tacos to lure customers in. Look at it now, it is a huge taqueria, the line snakes around the seats and the tortillas never stop steaming !! I have been to plenty of Taqueria's around the city and have to say La Corneta tops them all. Fresh ingredients, meaty meats, fair price, Free chips (which seems like a rarity nowadays at any mexican spot) and good service. If you really have a healthy appetite, try the steak and shrimp super burrito or better yet the nachos, yes steak and shrimp nachos !! Seating can be scarce but get it to go and enjoy it in your home with a Corona, thats my suggestion !!

  • Pros: Awesome food, fair prices
  • Cons: Seating is scarce

Having lived in the Mission and then moved to Glen Park, I thought I'd gone out of taqueria territory, but no. This is the best of the bunch that I've tried. A Super Baby Burrito will fill you up just fine for $4, but there are plenty of options for getting totally stuffed. They've got one of the best meat selections around, from rich chicken mole to tender carnitas to the excellent carne asada. Try one in a Super Quesadilla, which comes with guacamole, salsa and cheese. A few warnings/tips: it's usually crowded but the line moves fast, so be prepared with your order (including kind of beans & hot or mild salsa) when your turn comes around. Also, seating is very limited, so best to get your order to go.

  • Pros: fantastic food, great prices, line moves fast
  • Cons: scant seating

Glen Park outpost of the Mexican mini-chain serves beef, fish and shrimp tacos made with choice meats and fresh seafood.

" If You Like Mexican Food, Look no further! Good Fresh Food Made to Order,Good Ambience, reasonable prices and their menu is quite extensive. I like the baby burritos, specially the Carnitas! Not Recommended for 5 or more people dining together; Seatings are limited you will have to wait. Parking is on the street, terrible at times so come early before lunch or dinner time.Overall...Highly Recommended!!! "

  • Pros: Great Food, Good Ambience, Extensive Menu
  • Cons: Terrible Parking, Limited Seating, Noisy at times

Lines are just too long for a burrito place. There is always a wait (there is no other good quick food in Glen Park). Burritos are good but not particularly cheap. Carnitas was oily.

  • Cons: long lines

does gt busy during peak times and parking car be tough. They opened another taqueria on Mission at 23rd Sts. It does seem factory like, however, if you order any items that need grilling or cooking (prawns/ seafood/ quesadillas) the items are hot and tasty.

  • Pros: big portions
