Always been fan of tacos and taco bell

by yoyover1988 at Citysearch

The taco is undeniably good, all those meats and veges and stuff wrapped in a yummy soft bread, nothing beats that one. And those foods they serve they don't come in tiny packages, they're huge!

  • Pros: good food and friendly staff
  • Cons: makes you get enough of it real quick

Best burrito in sf

by awolfey at Citysearch

Myself and a lot of my friends swear by this place. I don't know how they do it, but oh man their grilled chicken or steak burrito is great. It's a hard-to-find hole-in-the-wall place and the guys may take several times to warm up to you (still doesn't mean they'll make your burrito the way you ask, so keep an eye on it!), but it's worth it.

  • Pros: The habanero sauce (special request) kills
  • Cons: the employees sometimes have a hard time following directions

Colossal burritos with fresh ingredients at an affordable, no-frills eatery in Ingleside.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
On most days, a long line of loyal fans curls out the door of this tiny, brightly colored taqueria. Customers dictate their preferred ingredients--ranging from bell peppers and onions to roasted chipotle and house hot sauce--to Spanish-speaking staff that assembles made-to-order burritos and tacos. The signature jumbo burrito, made with two extra-large, overlapping tortillas (whole wheat, tomato or corn) and filled with freshly grilled beef or chicken, can satisfy two hearty appetites.

Best Taqueria You'll Ever Eat At!

by frettrickman at Citysearch

Believe me, I have tried more than two handfuls of taquerias in San Francisco, and none of them compare to the great food at Ocean Taqueria. The cooks will ask you if you'd like to ad Onions and Grilled Bell Peppers to your pollo asado (grilled chick) cooking before you... All the ingrediants are fresh, the food is cheap, and there's not a tastier mexican food place in the state of california to my knowledge.. We eat there 3 times a week often.

Give it a try, right across from 24hour fitness!

I'm Addicted!

by ethomas159 at Citysearch

I go to Ocean Taq. about 3 times a week (it used to be more till I moved farther away). For $5 you get a fresh, made to order, and amazing burrito to go. If your really hungry get the Jumbo Burrito; its as big as your forearm! And for $8 makes 2 meals on a budget perfect for the day. I recommend the pollo asado (grilled chicken) and if you like spicy tell them to put some hot sauce on the grill when they are cooking it. And if it is your first time going, listen to the person in front of you to get the lingo right. And on your way out yell Hasta Manana! because you WILL be coming back the next day.

  • Pros: Fresh, Fast, Amazing
  • Cons: Sometimes crowded

Great little restaurant

by tf86 at Citysearch

this restaurant has to be one of the best in the city. The food tastes excellent and fresh. The grilled meats are cooked to order, ie carne asada or pollo asada. Seating is limited, so it's mainly a to go place. There are only 4 tables inside and two outside. You may want to give yourself some extra time during lunch time because sometimes the line goes out the door even though they're pretty fast at preparing your food.

  • Pros: great food, fresh, good value
  • Cons: seating

Great good, low prices

by sfjburk1591 at Citysearch

A great little Taqueria in the Ingleside neighborhood on Ocean Avenue near Rite Aid.

Fast service, execellent food at good prices. Restaurant is small so it's better to take out. It's noisy in the restaurant - usually with loud "futbol" games or news on the kitchen radio.

Staff speaks English and Spanish.

  • Pros: Fast, Great prices, Authentic
  • Cons: Small dining room, Noisy
