Whenever we travel away from our home town of Seattle we always try to stop at a local antique mall to see if we can find any antique and vintage buttons to add to our collection. We learned about the SF Antique & Design Mall from the internet. What we found when we arrived there was an incredible inventory of everything from true historical treasures to wonderful junk. They have it all! Everything is wonderfully displayed without looking cluttered and is very well lit. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive, yet didn't make you feel like they thought you were about to break something or were on the verge of shoplifting. It was very relaxed. Being from out of town, we especially appreciated the service we received from "Randy." Randy was dandy! We found what we were looking for and even purchased a couple of great items we weren't looking for. Pricing seems to be fair to both seller and buyer.

There were only two minor "negatives" we can think of. The first was caused by bad timing on our part. The rush hour traffic was horrendous. The second was the upstairs portion of the mall. It wasn't nearly put together as well as the main floor. But these were minor things and did not take away from the enjoyment of our "antiquing" experience in the least. The next time we're in San Fransisco we will make SF Antique & Design Mall one of our priority destinations. We visit a lot of antique malls around the country, but this one surpasses them all. If you go there be sure to ask for Randy.

  • Pros: Selection. If you don't want to buy it, it's still fun to look at. Like being in a time machine!
  • Cons: Traffic!

Great antique mall! Found some great Noritake there. Hope to go back soon and find some other great pieces there. Can easily spend a couple of enjoyable hours searching both floors.

  • Pros: can leisurely shop.
  • Cons: Had to leave early to beat the highway 101 traffic.

I love coming here! I shop at the Alemany Flea Market on Sundays and then head over here; as they are located right across the freeway. There are so many different dealers at the SF Antique & Design Mall each with their own eclectic style; so you are sure to find something to fabulous. The owners Randy and Mike are very knowledgeable about what they sell. Their expertise has helped me add some fabulous pieces to my collection of antiques. If you are accustomed to experiencing "sticker shock" at the prices in most of San Francisco's antique shops (as I usually do) you?ll be quite pleased with the reasonable prices here.

  • Pros: Knowledgable staff, great prices, loads of parking.
  • Cons: So many booths, you'd need several hours to see everything!

This is absolutely, positively, the best Antique Mall I've found in Northern California. I?ve found just about every antique mall and store from as far north as Chico and Paradise to as far south as Lodi, and I?ve even traveled into Nevada to explore shops. I visit this store at least monthly. It's always worth the drive from Sacramento. I always find new and interesting items at competitive prices. They truly have something for everyone! The staff is very courteous and helpful. If I just want to browse, I?m free to do so. If I want assistance, they will go the extra mile to help me. When I've been looking for something specific, they go the extra mile to locate the item for me. I?ve been shopping at this mall for over 4 years now, and it?s my favorite place to shop. I?d highly recommend it to anyone!

  • Pros: Fantastic variety of items at very competative prices, easy to get to, easy to park
  • Cons: absolutely NONE

There must be well over a hundred different dealer booths at this large store, and the merchandise for sale ranges from fine antiques to kitschy treasures from the '70s. Whether you're a hardcore collector or just looking for something pretty or neat for your house, it seems likely that there will be plenty in this place that will catch your eye. The staff is friendly but not overly attentive. THERE IS A LARGE PARKING LOT, so parking is not an issue. There is so much to see that you probably should plan on spending an hour or two to shop.

  • Pros: Easy parking; wide variety of merchandise

This place is a HUGE antique store with tens of thousands of goodies to see. It's one of those places with hundreds of dealers who have booths with all kinds of merchandise, but very little of the junk or reproductions I've seen being sold elswhere. There's everything from fabulous antiques to wonderful oddments, something for everybody, and every pocketbook. I always find items I want when I go in there, and no employee follows me around like I need a minder, which is a relief. Plus, they don't display the snootiness I've found at other antique stores, another mercy. I've met Michael and also talked to Randy (I think they're the owners) a couple of times and they're very nice, helpful guys. Don't be afraid to ask for them if you need some guidance. They've helped me a lot. In addition I've noticed that the merchandise moves through constantly, so I'm not looking at the same tired old stuff every time I go in to shop. And the parking is always plentiful. Can you tell I love this place? Now if I only had a couple more rooms in my house so I could fill them up with great finds!

  • Pros: A shoppers paradise

So much to look at, that you could spend all day roaming the aisles. The best thing about this mall is the variety of things you can find. If you are looking for mid-century antiques, turn of the century antiques, or anything in between you can find it here. Great place to find furniture, jewelry, silver, art, you name it they have it.

  • Pros: Lots of Parking, Friendly Atmosphere, Great items
  • Cons: none!
