My father died last May leaving me with the task of packing and shipping several large antiques [plus lotsa little stuff] to myself in Phoenix and my sister in Seattle. After querying several movers, I chose Shamrock because they said they could do it all -- from building custom made crates for the biggest and most fragile items to extracting the largest piece [an 11'6" long antique buffet] through a window from my father's 2d story apartment with a crane. Moreover, Shamrock said they'd provide a two crews plus separate trucks for each destination. The Shamrock packers arrived exactly as scheduled early in the morning. By evening everything had been carefully crated or packed, had been carried down to the street from the apartment, and was loaded on the trucks. Then both trucks arrived at their destinations exactly when Shamrock said they would, and the unpacking went as smoothly as the packing had. [Not one single item was damaged during this move!] It's also worth noting that Shamrock provided me with an estimate of the cost before I contracted with them, and that estimate was what I was charged... not a penny more. In short, based on our experience with them, if you have a difficult or no-notice move that must happen quickly, or you have delicate, valuable items that require special handling, Shamrock has the expertise to get the job done for you.

Pros: Expertise and integrity.

Cons: Can't think of any.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for making my move from San Francisco to Sausalito as easy as possible. Your team arrived on time and did a great job of putting down carpet protection and shrink-wrapping items so that they arrived intact at their destination. Everyone worked hard to complete the job on time and I had a lot of stairs to cover which made it even more of a challenge. The team of movers were all really helpful and friendly, especially Bill who went out of his way to make things go smoothly. Not a single item arrived broken! I would refer Shamrock to anyone I know who was moving in the Bay Area!

Pros: Friendly & Professional hard-working company!

I have had some very bad moving experiences in the past and because of this i am very weary but my friend recommended Shamrock to me and finally i have found someone who knows what they are doing! the whole move was seemless and the owner even stopped by to make sure everything was going okay. the lady in the office that i spoke to was informative and extremely friendly. all in all a fantastic experience!

This moving company was amazing. The move went really smooth and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Very professional and absolutely no damage.I am a very satisfied customer!

I used this company once. They were suppose to be at my place at 10 am and didn't show up until, 3pm or so. I didn't receive any calls telling me they were going to be late, and was treated like I was the nuisance when I kept calling them and asked when they were going to arrive.

We Had a Large and complicated move and Shamrock handled it superbly! From the initial estimate to the confirmation calls to the last piece that was brought into the house everything was completed with the upmost professionalism. The movers had great attitudes and were courteous and friendly.They had smiles on thier faces even when they were in the middle of moving a huge couch up our stairs!!....and unfortunately back down again when we decided we wanted it downstairs!!! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!

My first review. Normally I couldn't be bothered, but I had a terrible experience with Shamrock. They were late, showed up at the WRONG location, were slow ( I moved more than the 4 prof. movers did), upcharged on unnecessary supplies and damaged some items (which they lied to my face trying to avoid responsibility). When I made a claim for the damage, I was lowballed and stonewalled. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!

They scheduled at the last minute, showed up on time, did a great job. We've moved with them twice and last time they moved some extra items at no cost because they had the time.
