I got the organic facial and that was a HUGE mistake. I was warned that it was going to burn a little, which I thought was weird, but sat through the burning anyway. I don't even have sensitive skin. Regardless, it probably burned a little more than it should have because unfortunately it left me looking like I had razor burn along my chin and jaw line, so bad I took a day off of work. The following day I had a dry skin beard and little flakes of skin kept falling onto my keyboard at work (GROSS!!). I will never go back there again. You've been warned.
Pros: my appointment started on time
Cons: parking, high prices, no skills

I have been to more or less every spa in the city since moving here 2 years ago. I will never go anywhere else after finding this place. BEST FACIALS EVER. EVER. Julia is amazing. The products are great, service is great. Worth the $$ and it is usually (surprisingly) easy to book appointments.
Pros: NO SALES PRESSURE; eco-friendly organic products (vegan nail polish!); i love skin ceuticals and they have the whole line; extremely knowledgeable estheticians
Cons: None! well, a little pricey, but worth every penny

New to the spa thing. Aesthetician Sherri gave me an amazing facial. She vacuumed my face with the dermabrasion - made me a "smoothie" she said. Well whatever she did, my face felt like silk. New to the area too, but I'm hooked.

A good bikini wax is hard to find but you can find one here! I won't say it was pain-free because, let's face it - ripping hair off your skin is not the most pleasurable experience ever - but Christina was quick and gentle. I highly recommend her!

Tremendously OVERRATED! Waited almost an hour, no apologies, and then the facial made me break out! I was better off with out the "deep pore cleansing" for over a hundred bucks. I have been to spas before when I have had good service (ie Jurlique,. Nob Hill Spa). I am sorry to say it- I will start writing about the good ones!! Sad but true. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I just had a facial from Christina-I usually go to Kika but she was not avaialble so I gave Chrisitina a try--I am glad I did--don't get me wrong Kika is great but Christina was as well--my skin is actually glowing-she did full extractions for me-which some other aestheticians seem to be hesitant about--she also talked me through every step and expalined the benefits of each process--I am excited that I know have 2 great aestheticians I can see as Spa Radience!! (Just an FYI-I am in the skin care bsuiness myself so I know what a facial should be and the results you should get)
Pros: service, skin care products, facials that actually do something for you-not just fluff
Cons: no day spa ammenities-showers, steam, changing area etc

If you are looking for a truly fast, efficient and professionally performed Waxing Treatment, use Christina Fisher at the Radiance Spa in San Fransisco. She is so good at her work that I just had to share this info with you all. I have had many wax jobs in my life as most women in this city, and she is by far the best person to do the job to minimize the pain, discomfort and any complications that are often associated with this kind of treatment. She is also a pleasure to be around, and makes you feel like a VIP every time. My smooth legs thank you Christina!

A family member suggested that I get a facial as I had been having symptoms of dermatillomania, or picking of the skin of the face. As a peformer, I had been applying heavy stage make-up six days a week. Not only was my skin a mess but I felt ashamed that in tying to "get rid" of blemishes, I was in fact scarring myself! Luckily, I saved my face at Spa Radiance. My esthetician Christina helped me immensly by making me feel comfortable and not ashamed. She told me that this skin condition was more common than I had though and set up a regime for me to follow morning, noon and night. Every time I felt like picking, I did something good for my skin instead! She gave me a gentle chemical peel which made my skin glow and she explained everything that she did so I could mimic the spa facial at home. Her approach was sensitive and thorough. People who haven't seen me in a while comment on how beautiful I look now and I am free to let my face shine.

I discovered Spa Radiance by following my esthetician, Christina, there. What a terrific place! Not only is Christina a pro, but everyone I have come into contact with there is super friendly, helpful and professional. I've had my legs, bikini, underarms and brows waxed, plus a facial, and all services and treatments were great. I highly recommend it.

I just had a terrible experience at Spa Radiance. I usually go to a different place but i read a good review on Spa Radiance in a magazine and decided to give it a try. I got a bikini wax. The esthetician, Christine, did a horrible job resulting in several bruises in my bikini area. My skin was so damaged that it started ble-eding, but she assured me that it was "normal." Well, it is not. I get my bikini area waxed on a regular basis and this have never happened before. I left in tears - i am going to a beach vacation in Spain in a week, and just pray that the bruises will start going away by then. The girls at the checkout desk were completely unsympathetic and did not even offer that I spoke to a service manager about my experience.
