Good value, convenient location. We were very pleased with Marina Inn. We were always greated by friendly and helpful staff members. We felt that we were in a safe location for the times we walked around. The only suggestion for improvement would be more variety on the breakfast choices, i.e. fresh fruit, and variety of muffins. We would definately stay there again and recommend it to our friends.…

The Marina is a younger and hipper version of the exclusive neighboring Pacific Heights. Adjacent to the Golden Gate Bridge and within easy walking distance of the trendy
boutiques of Union Street (not to be confused with Union Square), the location is both exclusive and convenient. While much of the Marina is quiet and family-focused, it is good to note that this property is located on one of the city's main thoroughfares and will be slightly noisier than other properties in its vicinity.
The Details
The lobby of this 1924 hotel is small but pleasant with its high ceilings and marble floors. The 40 rooms are decked out in English country style with busy flowered fabrics and bold floral wallpapers. A surprising but welcome treat is the nightly turndown service with chocolates.…
