Everything was just bad.

The people who work there are the most unfriendly (especially the manager). No smiles nor thank yous. They were difficult to work with and very discriminating. The rooms are stuffy. The ac don't work. The bathrooms are very small and I even saw a stain mark on the towels they provided. My roommates claimed they saw a mouse. I don't recommend this place at all.
- Pros: none

Basic budget lodging with a convenient central address.

The Scene
While Lombard Street is known for one charming and singular crooked block, it in fact stretches without winding through a large section of the city. This particular stretch is pretty generic, as is the beige, 1960s motel itself. Still, parking is free and the rates are low--two rare finds in overpriced, traffic-congested San Francisco.
The Details
Spacious guest rooms with standard furnishings and cheerful pink-toned decor include cable TV, refrigerators, irons and ironing boards. A complimentary continental breakfast is served in the lobby. Kids under 12 stay free with their folks, although there isn't much here to keep children entertained.
