Avoid at ALL COSTS!!

Silver Clouds? They should call this place Frozen Lakes because IT IS the 7th layer of hell. You could not pay me any amount to go there again. Antagonisic clientele, exceptionally rude staff. If your idea of karaoke is watching some post-sorority girls giggle their way through "Oops I Did It Again" then this is the place for you. If you are over 18 I would suggest you avoid it. I swear some of these people were strugging through songs because they could not read. Not even slightly amusing sitting through act after act of idiocy.

• Cons: EVERYTHING

The front room has hardwood floors, Tiffany lamps, a long bar and a view of the patio garden while the rear dining space kicks up the elegance a notch with brass rails and window curtains. Start with Dungeness crab-cakes in a Cajun aioli sauce. Mains include Australian lobster tail, pepper steak and provimi veal cooked three ways. After dinner, sing to everyone at nightly karaoke in the front room: "I Did it My-y-y Way."

So much fun!!

Yes this place is a little tacky, but it is a karaoke bar....Strong drinks and fun times make up for it. I thought the drinks were really reasonably priced, especially for a marina bar. Even if you don't like to sing, it's just a fun atmosphere and the possibility of getting one friend up on stage makes it worth spending a few hours there. They have a TV screen now (not sure if this is new but I never noticed it before) so you can see your friends on stage from anywhere in the bar. Really great for birthday parties and bachelorette parties!

The witch is dead, good times in Oz

I had previously written a review indicating my displeasure with a terrible karaoke host. I want everyone to know that she is now long gone and people can now return to the Cluude. The hosts are great, do not kick you off for stupid reasons and the bar staff is friendly and great. The crowd is always fun, supportive and tipsy . . . a perfect combination for karaoke good times.

Silver Clouds Rocks!

Haven't been there on weekends, but we usually head over there before/after our softball games on Tuesdays at Moscone Park. Bartenders are funny and they mix great drinks. They always have drink specials and the food is pretty good too.

The worst place ever.

Bad food, bad ambiance and bad crowd. Even after making reservations, was still placed in the corner. Was eventually asked to be moved to the smoking area b/c "our group was too large." The person running the karaoke was extremely disorganized. I guess she's not familiar with how to hold a stack of papers and push buttons at the same time. This place is not worth the crappy parking, tacky interior or your time.

Rude Employees

I walked in with my friends one night ready to have a great time and wound up leaving after a couple songs and a beer. The employees hastled us with our ids because we are originally from Oregon, they talked amongst eachother about us and reccomended to the bar tender not to serve us large portions cause they thought we were wasted and we weren't. I felt so uncomfortable that me and my friends took off. I will never go there again.

If you happen to be living in the San Diego area and are up for a visit, this is the place for you. Especially if you are originally from Santa Cruz and enjoy wearing a pink mini-skirt late at night. Plan on passing out next to a fence with a bottle of booze in a parking lot and then winning the class vote so yr video is played in front of the entire lecture class ... haha

Great Karoake

The staff is very friendly. The people are entertaining in themselves. I have been there recently, and I found the host to be great, as well as the crowd! It's a really fun place!!!

Great Place To Hang

I've been going to the Cloud for a few years off and on. The staff is great, EVEN the bouncer, if you're over 21 and are there to have a good time. Unlike other places you can sing horribly and still get a full house of claps! I highly recommend trying it!

• Cons: no parking, can get crowded, on sat and fri.
