Laid-back Sunset sports bar pairs big couches with the big screens.
by Contributor
In Short
Big, plush couches, plenty of tables, and hanging green plants make this Irving Street standby comfier than most sports bars, but fear not, it still features that familiar old beer smell and the gigantic screens showing games. Those who aren't interested in the game can head to the back to chat, play darts or Ms. Pac-Man, and work their way through the bar's dozens of draft beers or throw back one of the popular (and cheap!) margaritas.
Absolutely appalling

We visited this bar tonight and the bartenders were unbelievably rude. Not a place I will revisit.
best draft selection in the sunset
by sunsetsf
Good bar, pelenty of room. Not nahything special above any other bar except has a large draft selection to choose from which is a big plus. They always seem to have good decorations up for the holidays as well.
- Pros: huge daft selection, lots of room, bring food in
- Cons: crowded
Fun Neighborhood Sports Bar!
by sfcaligirl
I love this place! It's fun when there's a big game going on, or to hang out on a warm Sunday afternoon--the place gets packed! The drinks aren't super, but they're way cheap and the crowd is mostly younger UCSF students and locals. Recommend!
Fun, relaxed atmosphere

What's the best neighborhood sports bar? Yancy's in the Inner Richmond. Great comfy sofas, nice service and a fun place to watch a game or two. They even let you bring in food from the outside as long as you order a pitcher or two, which is never a problem. People from all over the neighborhood come out here to hang. Like any sports bar, come early for big games (World Series, Super Bowl, Masters, etc).
- Pros: Fun andd relaxed
- Cons: Needs more couches
