Gordon Ramsay would have a fit if he sees this place.
by SalC
I can't understand why this place has a 4 star rating. The customer service is absolutely non-existent, the chef is so lazy, the grill is disgustingly dirty especially where the food falls on the side. Gordon Ramsay would have a fit if he sees this place. Moreover, the bacon is pre-cooked and is just stacked on top of the grill. How very unsanitary! The place is so small, there is always a wait. Just don't bother!
- Cons: Gordon Ramsay would have a fit if he sees this place.
Get there early to pull up a stool at this shoebox of a Korean-American diner in the Inner Sunset.

After hours, you could walk by nine times without noticing the existence of this Irving Street phenomenon, but come breakfast-time, the line often runs out the door. Diners swear the regularly long wait is worth it for a chance to sit at one of Art's handful of counter seats (the teeny tiny restaurant is entirely bar stools), ogle the slabs of frying bacon on the open griddle and dig into mounded plates of greasy breakfast foods. The menu, however, is not necessarily your standard greasy-spoon fare: American standbys like Denver omelets and cinnamon French toast are coupled with Korean-influenced choices like a tofu-and-kim chee omelet with hot bean paste and the option of getting rice instead of hashbrowns with any order.

This place is cool, there are not tables and chairs, it is just one long diner bar where everyone sits together. The breakfast is good and it's fun to watch them make your meal right in front of you. It's small though so if it's packed you are not getting in. The limited seating is a little tough, but if you want to wait you will get a good meal. It's also cash only so come prepared.
Friendly small diner

This is a Korean/American diner. Narrow counter with around 10 swivel chairs. No frills but that's not what you come for. Their specialty is hashbrown sandwiches. Good for a breakfast. Local hang-out.
- Pros: Hashbrown sandwiches
- Cons: Cramped, only open til early afternoon
