everyone flocks to golden gate park. all different types of people everywhere. best people watching in the city. if it's overcast-many times it is-the musuems are always a good alternative. plus the buffalo are always fun to see. hidden treasure of it-the casting lake and archery range.

Know Before You Go

Dogs can run freely at four off-leash locations in the park: the fenced-in exercise area at 38th Avenue and Fulton, the dog run at Fulton and Stanyan, a wooded section on Seventh Avenue, and a knoll in the Outer Sunset near MLK.
