by arnoldkultz

The greasy chicken was so mind-blowing when you taste it, seriously, like it was very tasty and salty. lol. It was good, overall was fine..

  • Pros: Good food, stuffs you out, clean place
  • Cons: Well, the foods are non-healthy at all

Steamed pork buns, fried frog legs and whole crab are but a few of the dishes available at this spacious Mandarin-style eatery.

by Chelsea Sime

Hungry families and friends come for choice dishes plates the like braised tofu, ginger lamb and short ribs that dot the circular tables filling the large open dining space in this Outer Richmond Chinese restaurant. The traditionally-trained Mandarin chefs prepare an assortment of Americanized staples like sweet-and-sour-this and barbecue-pork-that, but the real draw is in the house specials: frog legs, prawns, lotus root and abalone prepared in a variety of ways. Whether they come for the popular dim sum offerings or the heaping portions at dinner, diners embrace the slow pace and communal nature of the restaurant's set-up: tea pots are refilled, belts are loosened and hours are spent picking with chopsticks and yapping with friends.

Fabulous Chinese Food

by mago4000

I've been going to this place for years and they recently remodel the restaurant and it looks great now. The food has always been the crowd pleaser. Dim sum on the weekends is always fun, but can be chaotic like any good dim sum place. I grew up in Hong Kong, lived in LA for 15 years, and this place is one of the best dim sum places I've been to and the prices are quite reasonable. Their dinner menu is good too, but I often order take-out. Their fried rice dishes are good as well as a peppered beef, broccoli, and onions dish. Parking can be quite difficult to find.

  • Pros: Dim sum, prices
  • Cons: Parking, noise (occasionally)

Great Chinese Restaurant

by majwilliams205

I am a native of SF and I am lucky to live only 3 blocks away from this restaurant where I can walk there anytime to eat my fill. The prices are great, dim sum on the weekends are fabulous, and on my way home, I often call ahead of time for "to go" orders. I've tried just about everything on the menu and there really isn't anything that I do not like. I would highly recommend their chow mein dishes. Dim sum on the weekends can be hectic at times.

Great Dim Sum at Great Prices, Very Good Entrees

by adams_eating

I've eaten at the Clement Street Yet Wah many times for dinner. The food is great and consistent every time. The service is friendly. The entrees are reasonably priced. I also have had dim sum here many times. One of the reviewers said she and a friend can have their fill of dim sum for $26, and she's right. A friend and I can eat har gao and siu mai until we can't eat anymore, and it's $26.

Great Chinese Food

by cjcarter1050

Everyone raves about their dim sum, but I have also tried their entrees and its equally great. They have a unique beef fried noodle dish using Japanese udon noodles and a lobster noodle dish that I highly recommend. The restaurant have new hostess, Irene, and she's fabulous...ask her for suggestions.

  • Pros: Fabulous dim sum and noodle dishes
  • Cons: Parking

Best Dim Sum

by pgchan330

Great dim sum at great prices. There is a large variety of dishes to choose from. Their fried noodles and chow mein are also spectacular. The staff is wonderful. I have made it a point to eat here whenever I come to San Francisco. They also validate parking for 1hr at a nearby parking lot for $1.

  • Pros: Great food, staff and prices, validated parking
  • Cons: Noise (but then again, its a Chinese restaurant)

Yummy dim sum =)

by elaine14

Yeh Wah was my favorite dim sum restaurant in the city. . .until they raised their prices. Now it's my second favorite. The restaurant was recently renovated so it's a bit more polished on the inside (althouth the exterior remains a horrid lavender). My favorite dishes are the steamed turnip cake (cooked unique here), chive dumplings, and the shark fin dumpling soup. Although it's not as dirt cheap as it used to be, it's still very reasonably priced. Dim sum for two Chinese girls to eat their fill comes to $26 total with tax and tip. Warning: parking is difficult.

  • Pros: Tasty dishes
  • Cons: parking
