Pretty Good Dim Sum

I love dim sum and have been to some fantastic dim sum "palaces" all over the country. The husband and I tried this place out a few weeks back. Line of people waiting for table and lots of locals inside is always a great sign. We had to share a table with another party because they were so busy. We were a little bummed there were no carts rolling around, place is too small for it, but the dim sum made up for it. Inexpensive, quick, hot & yummy. Just as dim sum should be. Service was a bit questionable, slow but we would definitely go back. Helps to know your dim sum to place correct order, first timers may find a bit challenging.

Best Food on Clement and possibly the City

I discovered the Ocean back in 1990. That is where I took my now wife for the first date and the food has always been awesome. I always glance what other people are eating and If It looks good I order the same thing. I love the fried oysters and the coconut jello.

• Pros: Great prices. Try the 2 lobsters for $17. Truly Awesome
• Cons: Parking can be difficult on Friday nights.

Always great!

There might 10000 other chinese restaurants in that street but we always go back to Ocean! The food is always great (fried octopus, sweet prawns!!) and VERY inexpensive... the service is fast, efficient and NICE eventhough we don't speak chinese!

So if you're in the neighborhood and all the restaurants look the same to you, go to Ocean you won't regret it!

• Cons: PARKING!!!

great dim sum

for your dollars! it's not the best dimsum in the area or the prettiest presentation by far but it's always been consistently delish, quick, and not greasy. there are no carts here; you mostly have to order off a menu although sometimes the waiters will bring otu trays of some of the dishes pre-made.

• Cons: parking can be hard, no carts of food

A great fan of the place

Superb dim sum from morning to early afternoon. The steamed chive dumplings, scallop and crab dumplings, shrimp dumplings, are without par. The barbecue pork buns are the best I have had. Delicious and abundant lunch specials. Great variety, and great choice of group dinenrs. My favorites: sole in garlic sauce, steamed giant clam in the shell, the Regal chicken, the salt and pepper octopus, salt and pepper pork loin, beef with tender greens, lobster Superior sauce with noodles, ...
