Worst Car Wash & Gas Prices
by robregan at Citysearch
It's conveniently located and relatively fast but I will NEVER go again. I justify the expense (over $20 for the "cheap" car wash) because you supposedly get a discount on your gas when you show your car wash receipt. However, half way through filling up I noticed the non-car wash price of $3.64 per gallon (that's 87 octane - the cheap stuff) and about $3.34 per gallon with the discount. However, nearly every single gas station in the city was selling gas at $3.09, and this includes the Chevron on Bay at Buchanan which always seems to be the most expensive. I noticed too late.... so I paid an extra $3 for my gas for the priveledge of getting a $23 car wash. Outrageous. To make it worse, they leave spots on your car, and barely put any effort into getting simple things like coffee stains removed from plastic. Don't go - total rip off. No wonder they were ranked #7 in the "Best of" vote for 2007.... I wish I had come to this site first.
- Pros: relatively fast
- Cons: gas rip off, the hand washers do practically nothing
WORST CAR WASH EVER
by dane024 at Citysearch
I have gone to Touchless numerous times as they are in my nieghborhood and I have to say I have never been satisfied. The consider your car done while it is still dripping wet, soap in the mirrors and spray still on the windows. I am forced to get a rag a finish off the car every time and worse yet I have had to ask them to buff out scratches they have created twice out of the past four washes. The are not cheap and do not do a good job. Save your money and go somewhere else.
- Pros: Friendly people, quick wash
- Cons: Terrible wash, unfinished car, and scratches.
Fast but not very good.

I went to this carwash for the first time yesterday and I was not impressed. The exterior wash was fair but the cleaning job done on the interior was horrible. The carpet still had lots of dirt on it and there was dust that was missed in several spots. The whole exerience was fast but that is the only good thing I can say. I mean, it was better than it started off for sure but I would never go back there again. There was no attention paid to detail at all.
- Pros: Fast
- Cons: Bad job done on interior
Don't let them clean your windows!!!
by bnb098 at Citysearch
I have tried to clean the film left on my windows about 10 times since the last time I took my vehicle here. Obivously they used a towel that was previously used to apply wax or a similar compound. Still there is a film left on my windows which makes it hard to see through when the sun hits my windshield. Needless to say I am not taking my car back here until the manager trains the workers properly.
- Pros: Fast service
- Cons: Poorly trained, expensive
FAST but not super cheap and not perfect either

So it saved me time but I certainly wash my vehicle better that they do. It was also not dried all the way, which means some streaks.
Also don't come here if you have a convertible with vinyle windows - they use all sorts of towels and products that will damage the clear plastic because they just aren't trained to deal with this.
I got the full interior cleaning and exterior wash with tire dressing and was charged $22.95. I think it is $2 more if you want air freshener. Anyway, kinda expensive but sure saved me a lot of time.
You should just take all your valuable or breakable things out of your car before going to a car wash - that is common sense. And don't come here often if you have clear plastic windows because eventually you will ruin them this way.
Thanks for reading!
- Pros: fast, easy
- Cons: expensive, not for vinyl windows

Brushless car wash features a pressurized water system; a team of employees cleans the interior and exterior of the car.
