Birkenstock repair

Birkenstock shoes may be ugly to some people yet those folks are the only ones on their feet and without complaints about aches and dragging spirits.

When the shoes need repair, Haight Street Shoe Repair is an institution that is the only place to go. Unbeatable work, price & turn-around time! I have a pair of these for work, relaxing, and they've been with me for over 20 years. Sure I have Rockports for dressier occasions, Nike Air for sports activities, but the old Birkenstocks have outlasted any shoes in my life.

With places like Haight Shoe Repair, these Birkenstocks may outlast me!

Excellent quality, great price on difficult job

I had a pair of Vasque Super-hikers with a blown-out sole. These are not your typical lightweight hiking boots - and Vasque uses a proprietary sole. Expensive to get them done by a certified dealer and there are only a couple in the US. So I took my chances here and couldn't be happier. They put a vibram sole onto the books with a cushioned lining. Got the shape perfect and they walk like new. Also look great - all for less than half the price from the auth dealer. Needless to say I was impressed.

Did this all in a week with great friendly service - gotta love it!

True Neighborhood Hospitality

They are not cheap but they are thorough, and when they haven't been on time for a super-rush order, they comp'd a while-you-wait cleaning or quick fix if possible. I like 'em.
