Valerie IS indeed the best! She makes my hair beautiful! I love going to this Salon. The prices are good, the decor is fun, and they have my loyalty as a client.

A retro dryer chair upholstered in sparkling vinyl welcomes patrons into the salon, where black-and-blue checkered floors mix with floral-print seats, retro photographs and one gigantic swordfish to create a vibe that manages to be glamorous and quirky all at the same time. Stylists deliver 'dos from the classic to edgier styles befitting of the neighboring Haight district. Patrons receive hair removal services and facials in a private room off the reception area.

Valerie Rocks!!!! Best Hair Dresser Ever!!!

Valerie is so toally Awesome!!! It took me years to find her, she makes my hair so happy!!!

Cut, color, damage repair, Valerie can do anything. If that's not enough, the Virrea Saloon is the perfect location, right on the N-Juda train line arcoss from Burgermister. Who could ask for more? I highly recomend!!!

tina - what a talent!

Tina's been cutting my hair for two years now. It takes a serious talent never to give a bad cut, but that's Tina. She's one serious scissor wizard. The girl knows her way around layers. And color. And charm. She can do edgy, pretty, funky, hot - anything you want, she somehow knows how to craft it. Not only does she rock with scissors, she also rocks. Check out her bands!

Great place & great cut

I just got a major haircut, went in w/no idea what I wanted, and Tina was awesome! She asked some questions, we looked at some pictures, and bingo, a new lovely me. The salon has personality, cool 50's, vintage style.

Oh yeah, and check out Seth, the hot stylist ther!

Best for Color Correction

I hesitate to put this out there, because she's already booked pretty far in advance, but Lison Vierra rocks! She took me from blue-black hair to the most beautiful blonde you ever saw, when my other salon refused after years of dyeing my hair. They said it couldn't be done, that I would lose it all. Ten years later, I'm still going to Vierra & Friends, and have recently become a redhead. I get so many compliments. The staff there is consciencious, caring and highly skilled. Also very friendly and fun. Cute, casual little salon, funky music, and they have made me feel like one of the family. What more can I say?

My hair is soo ROCKIN thanks to Amy!

I had wanted somethin new & different for awhile and my girlfriend always had the cutest hair - Finally I got her hairdressers # - and I've been going there for over a year now! My hair was naturally blond, but I started having some fun & Amy helped me do some amazing things (from red, to dark brown & now brown with blond streaks) Its HOT! They're all SUPER nice & the atmosphere is 50's chic. So cute! and affordable too! GO THERE!!

Great cut & color!

I spotted Vierra & Friends riding on the "N Judha". The salon is fun and funky...Rari has cut and colored my hair for the past few months and I am always pleased with the result. Plus it won't set you back too much money. (Cut & highlight costs me about 125)
