GREAT DIVE BAR!!!

Me and my friends LOVED this place!!! I have met 3 bartenders and they were all hot, and can be really nice if you dont give them any s#it. The jukebox is one of the best I have ever seen. From Wu-Tang and Nas to Dead Boys and Hall n Oats. Hand picked by the staff. Great music, cheap drinks, and hot punk bartenders. What more could you ask for???

• Pros: nice/cute bartenders good music cheap STRONG drinks
• Cons: no parking in the lower haight

A post-punk attitude reigns at this loud Lower Haight haunt.

Punks with cheap beer on their breath, cigarettes on their lips and Suicidal Tendencies patches on their jackets stand guard outside this bar as if to warn, or at least make uncomfortable, passersby who mistake Molotov's for a friendly bar. A concrete floor, sheet metal beams covered in stickers and dark red walls set the tone, while black-and-white paintings of demented bar scenes hanging over the black vinyl booths often mimic what is taking place just beneath them. Customer satisfaction is a priority here--if you're only satisfied when your bartender barely acknowledges you--and drinks are not expensive, but not as cheap as the punk ethos would suggest.
