Best Pizza in the Sunset
by sfcityguy
If you live in San Francisco you know that there is a pizza place on every corner. Believe me I have tryed them all. North Beach is alway consistant. It is just for pick up, no tables, prices are good. Everything is fresh, and the staff is freindly. All in all if you live in the sunset district you will not find a better pizza.
The Sunset outpost of this well-regarded local chain only offers carryout and delivery.

In Short
The pizza crusts are on the thin side and nothing to write home about, but the toppings are what make this one of the best pizza joints in the city. The selection is huge; be forewarned that "garlic" tends to mean "extra garlic." The minestrone soup is also hearty and filling.
Yummy Pizza!

They make very good pizza. The other food is pretty average.

I always order pizza from here. It's quick and decent priced. Use the coupon on their take out menu for $2-3 off.
This is a "take out" restaurant...no tables to sit...
- Pros: quick, inexpensive
- Cons: , parking
Frozen quality
by auntiecrazy
I heard a lot of people raving about North Beach pizza. I just ordered pizza from the Taraval location the other day and must say it was little better than the frozen kind you get. No big deal and all. Of course, nothing matches the old Front Room which used to be on Clement - and that didn't even compare to Malnatti's in Chicago. Pizza in San Francisco IS pretty schlock! My stomach was even a little upset from the experience.
