How is this place still open?
by sjwukc
This is a truly shocking restaurant. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I went with my girlfriend and her brother not long ago and we were hungry, fancied pizza, but wanted a change from the excellent Dino's (big mistake). The server (maybe the owner, too?) was pretty rude and unhelpful -- I could have put up for this were it not for the ghastly food. Dry, tatseless, pizza was our reward, and I could only take solace in the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. Perhaps a Chipotle or something similar will upgrade this decent location soon!!!
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Everything else
Rude and cheap owner (re-used wine)
by citywise123
I've had better service from McDonald's inside a Wal-Mart.
The owner who was working the bar was rude with us, other customers, and his employees. When a customer complained that he didn't pour much wine into the glass. He told her that was too bad. After she refused the glass of wine, he proceeded to pour that same wine back into the bottle!!! I recommend this place if you prefer a complete lack of customer service and used wine.
- Cons: Owner
Relieves the spot kind-of place! Inferno of a pizzeria!
by willis_sfc
Rather rude to incoming restroom users, but it's understandable. The wait staff is friendly. It was a busy day due to the Jazz festival. I was hungry. Got a garlic and mozz pizza which definitely had a generous sprinkling of minced garlic. The pizza bread was flat, crispy, and square. Overall for 7$ it was indulging for a hungry growing lad like myself. I don't know how the restaurant usually fares. Service could be better.
- Pros: good locale
- Cons: service, prices kinda high
POOR SERVICE!
by sickboio4
basically, i asked if they were closing.. it was 920. the waitress said no, come in, we dont close til 10. We were rushed to order, wait for the food, eat, and pay all by 945. OUr waitress was out the door by 10 pm, the owner who was there did not give a crap and was extremely rude. On top if it, the bussers were mopping and made the whole restaurant smell like pinesol, not very appetizing when you're being rushed to eat.
- Pros: NONE!
- Cons: crabby owner, waitress ditches you, rushed to eat
great place

comparing price nd what you get this place is excellent!
Also great place to bring kids! Not usual in the city
I specially recommend to everyone to taste the lasagna and tiramisu.
- Pros: kids, inexpensive
Fabulous deal

I only feel strongly about a few places here in my Fillmore/California area, and Pizza Inferno is one of them. They never fail to satisfy ... the personal pizza is awesome, just the right amount, a nice thin crust, and fresh basil on top. You can't beat the deal -- whether it's 2-for-1 time (you get a WHOLE personal pizza free!) or regular prices (pizzas from $5-9 bucks). Just wanted to spread the word, Pizza Inferno is where it's at.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Yummy Pizza, Never Crowded
- Cons: , Street Parking
Yummy Pizza
by jnissenberg
This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Try the cheese and tomato sauce pizza with three kinds of peppers on top. The place is seldom busy no matter when you go, so I'm not sure how it stays in business...
The only thing that bugs is sometimes the waitstaff try to discuss ultra-left-wing politics with me and I'd rather read my paper.
- Pros: pizza is primo
- Cons: spacey waitstaff
Great pizza

I've been coming here for the pizza for 7 years and it never fails to be just as good as the first time I ever had it. Make sure to come during their lunch special and happy hour special,4-6 pm. Their Thai pizza is my favorite! The place is funky with the colourful walls and ceilings- it gives the place a flair that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Everything on their menu is great. Try their lemonade which is my favorite ever.
I heart Pizza Inferno

I left SF a few months ago and still think about the yummy pizza and salads at Pizza Inferno. Unfortunately school has taken me away from my favorite Chinese Chicken Salad and Goat Cheese and Walnut pizza. The location is great, the happy hour can't be beat, and the staff is always pleasant. Yea Pizza Inferno!
