This is by far one of the best bargin meals you can buy in Pacific Heights

what a fantastic accidential discovery! i have been a faithful customer for several years - even though the prices have gone up ever so slightly, by comparison this is by far one of the best bargin meals you can buy in Pacific Heights. My experiences have always be extremely great and I have come to know quite a few of the people who work there... so if you only have 5 bucks in your pocket - you can still walk out the door with change but don't forget to leave a tip - they desserve it ! the most amazing burritos in sf
by amia14 at Citysearch
Their food is to die for. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be their burritos, hands down. I don't know what all the fuss is about at gordo's or la corneta, because el burrito express is THE best.

I keep going back and I am never disappointed. The tortas were amazing! The breakfast burritos were warm and filling - perfect for a hang over :O)
- Pros: FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!
- Cons: none!
A lunch stop staple
by coolez at Citysearch
El Burrito Express has very respectable food, service and prices. The only draw back is that it does a very busy lunch service and the wait can be a little longer than I would like. The menu is a little sparse for a taqueria, the burritos are excellent, especially if you are someone who wants a smaller version of your standard huge burrito in the city, they call it the Bronco burrito and my co-workers love it, I have a bigger appetite so am happy with their regular sizes. If you think you got what it takes and you're a real man, you can order the biggest burrito in the city (it has to be), it looks to be about 1.5 feet long and stuffed full... maybe for two?
- Pros: Food is good and quick
- Cons: Non
Good food, good service, great price

Up front I'll say El Burrito Express has kept this bachelor alive. It's a great place to walk to for a quick lunch or dinner. The Bronco Burrito is one of the best "quick" burritos I've had in the city and the two taco meal is a great meal at a great deal. Good feel to the place, local vibe, diverse demographic frequents it - all good signs. My only critique: no churros! Please take the churro option off the menu and stop tormenting me!
- Pros: Food, vibe, value
- Cons: no desserts
