Delicious, home-cooked korean

If you're searching for great, authentic korean food, definitely give Korea House a try. The meal I had here reminded me of the food I grew up with - and the atmosphere is cozy and down to earth, and although it is always busy, it is just quiet enough to enjoy a nice solid meal with good company.

First, you start out with a large variety of little plates/appetizers, which are all fresh and healthy (mostly vegetables). You can't really go wrong with any of the entrees - we recently ordered the kalbi, which was cut a bit thicker than normal but had a very flavorful, hearty taste to it. The tofu hotpot ("soon toobu") was the perfect complement to the kalbi, which was just spicy enough and plenty of seafood (unlike many other places).

Overall, a meal here won't disappoint, whether you've had korean food all your life or it's your first time. The many locals and wide variety of customers (young couples, families, coworkers, etc.) that have discovered this restaurant is proof that this is truly a great place for everyone.

The Best Korean in Town

Korea House is by far the best Korean restaurant in the Bay Area. Friendly service, great barbeque, incredible soups and casserole dishes are all ingredients for an unsurpassable dining experience. Another great part is that the wait staff there is more attentive than that of any other korean restaurants in the city, and you walk away from a meal feeling satisfied and in love with Korean food, as they "do it right" at this wonderful establishment.

Great Authentic Korean

Korea House is one of the best Korean restaurants in the city. It has a fabulous selection of kimchee and the great bbq meat that you can cook at the table. The stews and noodles are authentic and the atmosphere is cozy and warm.
