Donna is a miracle worker when it comes to treating skin!!

I started going to Donna after she gave me a consultation about my skin. Basically, I had deep, embarrassing scars all over my face and felt like I had no one to turn to for help. I went to two different dermatologists who were useless and gave me no hope. Donna was honest and said she would help me find a solution to my problem. After a few facial sessions, I started noticing that my scars were fading and were becoming smaller. I finished my 6th facial with Donna and my scars are BARELY visible! I cannot believe it! She truly is a miracle worker and on top of it all, she is genuine and sincere! I HIGHLY recommend Donna - you will be amazed! Ask her to tell you about my story. Thank you Donna!

Waxing and Facials by Evan .... To Die For!!!!

My best friend (male) and I (female) were cruising through the Castro district in San Francisco and noticed a sandwich board outside of an open door. The board offered $20 off a first time facial and I really needed one. We went up the stairs into this really fun salon and spa. The salon is called Notorious for Hair and the Spa is called Prima Facie. Anyway, My skin was a wreck and I thought I'd take advantage of the intro deal. I was so glad that they were able to fit me in that day. Meanwhile, while my friend was waiting for me, he read that the spa provides men's brazillian waxing. He had never tried it, partly because he was worried about the pain and partly because he was embarrassed to have a woman wax him. What a treat to find Evan working there.

Prima Facie has this new male esthetician (Evan) and he is amazing!!!! He gave me one of the most relaxing facials I have ever experienced. My skin looked and felt gorgeous and I felt like I was floating on a cloud.

When my facial was done, my friend told me that he wanted to try the male brazillian, so we asked Evan if there was time. He did and off my friend went into the treatment room. After his service was over, my friend couldn't stop talking about how comfortable Evan made him feel and that his technique was almost pain free.

Evan is one smooth guy....and so is my face, and my friend's....well my friend is happy!!!

• Pros: Comfortable environment, Professional Staff, Affordable prices
• Cons: Parking isn't perfect, but pleanty of transportation nearby

Evan is amazing, Great facial

Wow I feel like a million bucks. Evan gives the best facial ever. My skin is glowing. I am not sure which treatment he used as he was able to pick out the best one for my skin. It was relaxing beyond belief. I can?t wait to try out his waxing services. I used to buy custom makeup from him at glamarama and he is also a total sweetheart and makes you feel comfy right from the start. Everyone should have some face time with him.

Best facial!!

My skin was a mess after serveral Halloween parties and a trip to Puerto Rico. I was slightly sun burned, breaking out, and my pores were totally clogged! A good girlfriend and fellow stylist told me to go see Evan: the hot new esthetician at Prima Facie. Evan was perfect for me- he is like a mind reader- he knew exactly what I needed! He gave me an amazing 4 part facial- I would go through all the steps with you but I actually fell asleep because I was so relaxed! All I know is I woke up completely transformed! I was refreshed, relaxed, and my skin was plump and younger looking!! Evan also gave me a perfect brow and eyelash tint- this is a great little secret way for men and women alike to define and contour the eyes without make-up!!!

My skin has to look good for my job and I go to a lot of spas all over the world. I must tell you that the vibe, prices, treatments, and intuitive care that I received at Prima Facie was right on par! There are also a lot of great new shops and places to eat in the hood if your really want to spoil yourself with a fun "Spa Day"!

• Cons: If you blink you could miss it! The salon is upstairs on the second floor!

Nobody touches my eyebrows but Donna

when it comes to get my eyebrows done Donna is the only one that has access to them, i can't believe all the efford she puts in making my eyebrows perfect, exactly the way I want them. I love her everytime i come to get my eyebrows done it's like i'm visiting a friend. you guys have to go see her just so you understand what i'm taliking about.

I went and got my first brazilian wax here and it was such a good experience that i am going back to keep it up plus get my legs waxed. Donna was amazing, she didnt make things uncomfortable and kept talking the whole time so there would be no awkward moments. Her pricing is fantastic and worth every penny.

the waxing experience at Prima Facie was relaxing and the discomfort was minimal. donna, the waxist, made sure i was comfortable at all times, and she is the most gentle waxist i know.

Good Waxing

I came back to Prima Facie after several terrible leg and bikini waxes at a few places in Noe Valley. I was impressed the new esthetician, specifically her care and her attention to detail. Donna was careful to tweeze out in-grown hairs and to pull correctly so as not to break off the hairs (for those of you that wax you know that breakage is what causes in-growns). Donna also was careful to check that she covered everything. I did not feel rushed to get out (which is often the case at other salons). Donna was also super friendly and nice to talk to. I am a grad student and can barely afford a wax these days, but I will definitely return regularly due to the extremely positive experience. I've been waxing for 15 years, so a thumbs up from me is a big deal.
