I can't complain - the mailbox was broken due to vandalism and while it took the weekend to get someone out to fix it, Makras sent me a pizza for being patient. I had to wait outside on Monday for the mailman. This king Cobra is appreciative!

I want to say thank you to Makras and Maria for resolving our maintenance issues this year. The building is old and the plumbing isn't the best but Makras would send their maintenance guy out and even help getting the City to do its repair. Thanks!

Makras Real Estate completed our property transaction last year - actually saving the offer. We had to move because of family and they went above and beyond to make sure the deal was closed professionally and timely saving us extra costs in closing. Thank you Victor and his agents - because of your efforts we were able to take care of our family emergency and not worry about the sale of our property.
Pros: professional agents knowledge in real estate
Cons: no parking in Noe Valley

Thank you to Victor and his staff for helping me handle difficult tenants this past year. They send their maintenance team to handle the clogged toilets and sinks. Thank you for being there during the holiday (4th of July) and on weekends too.
Pros: Open on Saturday too
Cons: Parking is hard to find in Noe Valley

Makras is horrible to the core. The bad attitude, rudeness, and stingy, self serving behavior starts at the top with Victor Makras, and infects most of his employees. Even if one approaches them with the best of intentions, it is impossible to interact with anyone there without being insulted and treated like dirt. Victor, the owner, has a bad track record of showing disrespect to clients. He clearly cares more about his fellow millionaires. Having to deal with these mean and heartless people was the worst experience of my life. Never have I felt so ripped off by a company. They'll say anything to shirk responsibilities and to save the company some money. I will never deal with these people again and I strongly advise others to steer clear.
