Most Personal Service

by Markbronez

I get all my flowers from the French Tulip because the service is very personal, with an attractive French flair, and the price is right. I don't ever know exactly what I want in the way of flowers so I appreciate that Leticia gives me just the right amount of guidance to make beautiful bouquets for my wife. They also sell cool soaps and tablecloths and the like.

Fresh, lush, and unique flower arrangements

by recpec

Like a few other places in San Francisco this is one where I go to on repeated occasions. The store has been getting better and better since the new owner's took over a few years ago. They are always willing to work with me to get the bouquet just right...and I'm sure I can get annoying at times. They also sell some soaps, candles, etc...everything smells great in this shop! I use the Dani hand lotion they started carrying religiously! So check it out, who doesn't like flowers?!

Wonderful gifts and really gorgeous flower arrangements!

by rbinsf

This shop is filled with beautiful flowers and perfect gifts. I practically finished all of my christmas shopping in one visit! I have ordered arrangements three or four times off the website and they have all been gorgeous where the people who got them raved! The service was excellent and I love the cute puppy who is in there most days!

  • Pros: flowers AND gifts both
  • Cons: Meters on 24th street are a drag.

Horrible Customer Service

by mfenter

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY FAR AWAY.

Arrived at 2:00pm to find the door locked and the employee browsing the internet. I knocked and inquired if they were open. She was obviously annoyed and screeched back "Yes, we're closed". I commented that she should then hang a sign indicating so.

I walked away and the owner decided to storm out and follow me down the street to tell me that " as a small business owner sometimes you have to be closed!" Now, if she had shown that much energy to, instead of screeching she was closed, to apologize for the delay, open the door and ask what she could help me with, she would have a $100.00 or so in sales. Instead she lost this customer and 4 other people who witnessed her ridiculous behavior.

I hope the next tenant provides quality customer service. No need to shop any place where your business is not appreciated.

No longer a recommended florist

by prh80

I'm disappointed to write this review, but French Tulip came up short on Valentines Day and this isn't the first time. They used to be fantastic, then, 6 months ago when ordering flowers they messed up the delivery date. I realized that mistakes happen---so no big deal.

This time though they messed up again on Valentines Day, a day that's important to get right. They did not deliver until after 4pm. The address is not even far away, it was in the heart of the financial district. What's the point in spending well over $100 for flowers (albeit nice ones) if the delivery is essentially a day late? Who enjoys flowers they receive at 5pm? I understand that it's the busiest day of the year for florists, but with that understanding wouldn't you staff extra to make deliveries on time?

They will no longer be receiving my recommendations or business.

  • Pros: Nice Flowers
  • Cons: Poor Service

Delightful flower shop brings a touch of Provence to Noe Valley.

by Contributor

In Short
Step inside this 24th Street shop, and you'll instantly feel as though you've been transported to the French countryside. Having once run a floral shop in Bordeaux, the owners have filled this darling store with beautiful blooms, as well as vegetable soaps, bath salts, votives and ceramics from France. Whether you pre-order an arrangement or pick out some single stems, you can expect fresh, quality, eye-catching buds.

Always more than satisfied...

by mattatblikumcom

All-

In contrast to the person from Chicago I would like to say that not only are the owners, and employees, of The French Tulip educated in what they do but they have fantastic taste and have NEVER ceased to amaze me (and those I purchase flowers for) with the absolutely gorgeous arrangements.

Simply beautiful.

Email quote from a special girl:

"they are the most beautiful and fragrant spring flowers."

later in the same email:

"wow! the flowers are amazing!"

Most times I call them and tell them why the flowers are being sent and let them take care of the rest. Absolutely every time they are the best flowers for the occasion.

They always outlast store bought flowers as well.

I will go nowhere else

French style !

by emmanuelle

My favorite florist store in Noe Valley !

From the simple bouquet of Tulips that you can have in your kitchen to the unsual and beautiful flowers for your dinning room or living room. They are also making the most amazing small bouquet you can keep on your table , enjoy it during a dinner with your friends.

From the elegant bouquet to the french country style, you will always be happy with French Tulip.

I love this store.

  • Pros: Futur parking lot, Good prices, beautiful flowers
