Rude Service & Unprofessional

by cvdelros

I called to place a takeout order and noticed on their website that they offered a $29.95 deal for 2 entrees and a cold appetizer. When I called to ask about the offer, the person who took my order said "That's no longer valid. The website is old." After a few minutes, I called back again and explained that if the offer was posted on the website with no expiration date, they should honor the price. When I was denied again, I asked to cancel the order and was called "very unprofessional" by the person on the phone. I said they were the ones being "unprofessional" because they didn't hold true to what was advertised on their website...and then the person hung up on me.

I would recommend calling in for an order and ask if they honor that discount to get a glimpse of how you will probably be treated at the restaurant. Very rude.

GREAT PATIO, SERVICE AND FOOD! AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANYONE WHO ENJOYS CASUAL DINING.

by johnbling

I absolutely LOVE this place. Neither the food or service has ever dissapointed. One of the things that keeps us coming back is the cozy outdoor patio, which on a sunny day could not be any more perfect. The staff is very kind and quick to serve... their frittatas and pancakes are wonderful.

I crave their salad weekly!!!

by patchan

Awesome food!! The sauce on their shwarma's are unlike any other mediteranean stores...absolutely delicious. The Fattoush Salad is my favorite with no oily salad dressing but with alot of add-in's that makes this salad a one of a kind. I need to have one every week.

  • Pros: delicious, not crowded (sometimes at brunch)

best early supper

by gregadams

The best place to go for an early evening meal. The menu offers a variety of kabobs , but I recomend just picking one of the names you can"t pronounce. You"ll be very pleased with having been adventureous. everything from salads and appitizers are really good. The mint tea is recomended as a drink with the meal but a choice of middle eastern beers are available.

  • Pros: fast service -nice atmosphere -vegetarian dishes- generous portions
  • Cons: parking after 7pm can be a problem

best mediterranean ever

by mrcharliebear

This place is the best kept secret both for amazing Pakistani food and for weekend brunchwhich offers both tradition American brunch and med options. I don't get why no one knows about this place. Everyone lines up for the mediocre food at Savor and meanwhile this place can always seat you right away. Try the hot spinach plate and the vegitarian dishes especially. Great outdoor seating on the patio.

  • Pros: no waiting, quiet, pretty patio, great food

Food & Service is Slipping Here & Very Rude

by 4food2go

Food & Service is Slipping-Very Rude! Been going to restaurant a number of times for the great food and bread w/dip. Ordered the lamb dish ($17.95) to go and then the order was missing the bread/dip. The owner had the nerve to complain that bread is not included for to go orders and that the special bread was only served like 10 years ago! Hey this restaurant hasn't been in business for 10 years yet! Then he gave me just pita bread and dip. The lamb was good but not like in the past and the pita/dip was very poor! If this restaurant sells to go food , then it should treat customers like customers! I am not coming back with this rude owner taking my order!

  • Cons: Horrible Service and Food quality is slipping

Great food

by c80

I live right around the corner from this place and it's hands down my favorite restaurant in Noe Valley. If I had to pick one dish to try, I'd go with the Barhoumi wrap. Then again, you really can't go wrong with anything this menu. I also recommend sitting out on the back patio when it is open. There is nothing better than having a weekend Brunch at Fattoush. Great restaurant, highly recommended!

the unforgotten gem

by dpecoraro

This place is great for brunch AND dinner. For some reason, it never gets too crowded, which is all the more reason to go. And the owner, Ahmed, is really warm to the customers. Never had a single bad order.

  • Pros: doesn't get too byst
  • Cons: not the coolest interior, but who cares?!

Best Greek in Town

by josephsmembername

Situated on Church street, just south of 24th, Fattoush is one of the best all round meals going. I started going there originally for breakfast as the outdoor dining in the back is awesome on nice days. All the usual suspects are there, eggs benedict, french toast, pankakes, along with some mediteriannan flare such as the scramblers he puts together.

Then I found the shwerma, hands down best in the city, and the rest is history. I ususally go with the 2 person sampler and the mixed shwerma wrap. I have tried others, but Im wired for the shweremas. I think I have eaten there twice a week for about a month now.

Highly recommeneded, best food in Noe Valley (Savor and Chloe's dont offer the selection or freshness of food. Not to mention, it isin't a greasy spoon like those.)

  • Pros: Great food, service

Delicious food and a great place for a big group!

by peilin

I had to throw together a birthday dinner for a group of 12 at the last minute, and Fattoush came to the rescue! They were extremely accomodating (allowing me to change the number a couple of times) and welcomed us with friendly and warm smiles when we arrived. Everyone in the group found something (or several things!) that appealed to his/her palate and left with their bellies full and happy. The server made some great recommendations! The atmosphere is more relaxed and service is a bit on the slow side, but food and group-friendly environment areworth the wait.

  • Pros: Group reservations, flavorful food!
  • Cons: Service a bit slow
