I went to St. Lukes for the first time earlier this week for an out-patient surgical procedure, a cortisone injection in my hip. From start to finish, everyone I encountered at St. Lukes was courteous, knowledgable, reassuring and friendly. The hospital was spotless, ... clean and well-kept to an amazing level. Everything happened on-time, to the minute. The following day I received a phone call from the surgical department, asking how I was doing. All in all, a very professional experience. Great staff and a great hospital!
Pros: Great staff, excellent facilities, spotless, great parking.
Cons: None that I could see.

My husband and I went to the clinic at 1580 Valencia St., #201 for a routine yearly checkup.. Not only did we have to wait for an hour to be seen, but we were seen by the physician for 5-10 minutes each and got charged over $200 each. My appointment consisted of me telling the physician what I needed for vaccination and laboratory tests and I did not get a Pap smear. When we called them to see why we did not get charged our regular copay of $15 for "preventative care", they made it seem like they were not at fault, that they had done us a favor, and it was the insurance company's fault. Anyways, we are still struggling to get these bills settled.

This hospital is a hidden gem. The people are caring and genuine....the healthcare is topnotch. Fantastic doctors, modern equipment....and you don't get "lost" in the shuffle of a large system. These people truly care, and it shows.
Pros: The best customer service
Cons: Parking is difficult
