I am so not a Mission girl.

Cider for $4 is not bad and the people watching is very interesting but the decor is trying to hard and the place smells.
- Pros: reasonable prices
I had a beer here
by biaozeebub
I had two Hefeweizens here but then I was totally distracted by the paintings of nekkid chicks on the wall that I couldn't focus on enjoying my beers. Fail.
- Pros: Nekkid chicks on the wall
- Cons: Nekkid chicks on the wall
Crowded but fun
by saira1123
There isn't many places to sit which creates a problem when you are wearing heals. If you don't mind standing though this place can be great fun. The atmosphere is casual and light. There are paintings of curvey women lining the walls, which are fun to look at. Dont forget your cash the bar tenders seem to get irritated and skip over you the next round if you ask them if it is cash only(most places in SF are). The people are usually fun and easy to talk to although the weekend nights do bring the yuppies around. Over all good- i like it!
- Pros: Drink
- Cons: Crowded
Eclectic Mission lounge where folks from all walks of life collide over liquid gold.
by Contributor
A vibrant orange-red hue casts a fiery glow over this haunt. In addition to stools lining the very long bar, several leather couches provide loungy seating options in the back under velvet paintings of voluptuous nude women. There's nothing out of the ordinary about the bar, but drinks are $1-2 cheaper across the board than you'll find at most bars in the area. DJ's spin eclectic music, from British electro-pop to 60's swing, though you'll rarely if ever hear top 40 song. Typical of the Mission, the clientele is part flannel-clad hipster and part neighborhood barfly.
awesome service
by truethat
i like this place, really good jukebox during the day and good djs that really vary during the nights, fun barstaff that are fast, and if its slow are crazy(in a good way),the drinks are strong and cheap, the weekends are not for me as most of the mission is taken over by yuppies and this place is no exception,i have had some really good times here during the week.i wish they served bottled beer, excellent decor.
- Pros: bartenders are fast, cheap drinks, good music
- Cons: weekends are lame, weekends are lame, yuppy weekends
Horrible Service
by rgreenip
Worst bartending service I've experienced in any bar in San Francisco. If the place had any other redeeming quality, it might explain it...but it doesn't.
- Cons: service, drinks, atmosphere
ripped off
by clydemere
this used to be a cool hangout now it's trying to be a yuppy bar. they raised their prices 'because we have to keep up with the neighborhood' - an actual bartender quote - meaning 'because we can.' weak. avoid at all costs.
- Pros: nice decor, interesting jukebox
- Cons: , frat boy clientele
No Dancing on the Dance Floor
by sangeld
My girlfriends and I went here after dinner at Andalu. We were all fired up to dance and have fun.As we started dancing the DJ and the Bartender scolded us for dancing "too hard"! They claimed that we could "only dance gently/soft" because the records would skip. OMG I am sorry but who has a bar in the Mission in SF WITH a dance floor and then enforces such ludicrous rules. Another note - there were a lot of really obnoxious drunk frat boy types. No love here.
Cute guys hang out there
by topramen
Cute guys hang out there...I like it ;) Folks in general are firendly and pleasant, I expected it to be a snooty scene (maybe because of the nice decore and the fact that I'm more of a dive bar kind of gal), but it wasn't. I was impressed.
- Pros: dim n' sexy, strong drinks
- Cons: none
Chill Weeknight Spot
by mstampley_citysearch
Dark and cozy, this bar is the perfect spot to grab an after-work or after-dinner cocktail. There's just enough room for a large bar, a couple pool tables and a scattering of intimate tables. Generous bartenders pour with a heavy hand. Just don't forget your cash, credit cards aren't accepted here.
- Pros: stiff cocktails
- Cons: cash only
