I enjoy this place everytime I'm in the Mission on sales calls. My order is the Chicken super burritto. Warmed tortilla, stuffed with mesquite chicken off the grill, tasty Spanish rice, gaucamole, salsa, lettuce and sour cream- it is simply the best and the line moves quick. Chips on the side and it is a perfect "big" lunch for when you are really hungry. Take it to go or eat inside. The place is clean and the ladies behind the counter are friendly, quick with their service and make the best burritos.

My boss took me here for lunch last when we had meetings in the neighborhood and it was delicious. I now have a new spot for great mexican in the Mission. I had super tacos with rice and beans and I was so full, great protion size and the price was perfect, even though I didn't have to pay. The ambiance is bright and colorful and the people who work here are so lovely as well. I will definately stop back in for a filling meal when I am in the neighborhood!

  • Pros: everything
  • Cons: Nothing, this place is lovely!

This Mission Mexican haunt is all about choices. First there's the menu, featuring everything from tostadas to fish tacos to gourmet-style burritos with odd ingredients like Thai peanut sauce, cactus, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Then there's the post-order barrage of questions: beans (refried or black), tortilla (flour, wheat, chipotle, tomato or spinach), salsa (a whole slew of spiciness from a serve-yourself bar), beverage (beer, soda, horchata). It's enough to make your head spin, or your stomach growl. Return customers--and there are plenty in this neighborhood where everyone has a favorite taqueria--enjoy the plentiful vegetarian options, friendly service and technicolor decor. And chances are, if you visit in the evening, you'll even get a visit from a real mariachi.

This place is great. I love that is it nice bright and spacious. Everything looks reasonably clean and organized. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Chicken salad. A lot of my friends like the taqueria because of the great vegetarian selection as well. This place is one of my go to places when I am hungry and want something quick.

this place has healthful burritos and they're tasty too. they also have great vegetarian options, like the thai tofu burrito, which is something i've never had anywhere else. even their normal burritos (standard ones) are great. it's clean and bright and centrally located.

PROS: great food, reasonably priced, friendly staff

CONS: hard to find parking

For vegetarians tired of the usual this place offers Thai Tofu Burrito w pineapple, Soyrizo which simulates chorizo, Cactus, and Mushroom burritos as well. Unusual taco shop ingredients include ginger rice and mango salsa. Fresh squeezed carrot and orange juice and beer etc are available.

  • Pros: Inexpensive, Later hours, Good Ambience

I love the Burritos at Mariachis Restaurant...not only do they have unusual as well as traditional burritos there, but they use ONLY the freshest of ingredients...

My favorites are many, but the ones I like the most is the Fish Burrito... great snapper that they use in those as well as the Arizona...with great tasting..and a little spicy CACTUS....jammmmyyy...

I also like Mariachis a lot because it has a great decor and does not look like a regular Burrito Joint...

  • Pros: Fresh, Super tasty, Large Portions
  • Cons: To far from my house
