It was okay, nothing special

It was my first time going to the House of Prime Rib this past Monday (3/3/08.) It was a spur of the moment so we did not make reservation. That was a mistake on my part cause we waited for over an hour and a half.

My expectations were higher since a friend recommended it. The place is nicely decorated, friendly atomsphere, and the salad was the highlight of the meal. The prime ribs was good, but not good enough for that price and the portions were not "Massive". Two person, two dinner and wine costed just a little under $100.

NOT FOR A TABLE MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE

To my suprise, this place does not accept any party more than 10 on the weekends-fri, sat, sun. Ridiculous! So they would rather turn their customers away than trying to work something out. What great customer service they have! 5 thumbs down!

BAD EXPERIENCE

What happened to the House of Prime Rib that I use to know?!? Service was BAD and the food was a disappointment =( All I have to say is... what a waste of time and $$$!!!!

Just okay

Service was slow. Prime rib was good. Side dishes were too salty and the desserts were way too sweet. We had to ask for utensils when dessert showed up.

House of over-priced Prime Rib

This place is over-priced. They only have one type of salad dressing-nasty. The prime rib was average to good, but the sides were below average. The service was average. Overall, not a good value. This was our second visit and both times we were disappointed. The atmosphere is old school, but not that welcoming. We know its been here for long time so obviosuly some people like it, but we will NOT be back.
