Horrible ! Gross ! Rude Server!

This place was so bad in every way that it prompted me to write my first ever review. The food was inedible and the attitude of the server was horrible - he was so rude! My husband ordered food that was so bad he hardly was able to taste it, the smell alone was such a turnoff. I have never seen him not eat his food! The waiter did not act like this was unusual and offered no suggestion such as another order - not that we would have wasted the time or money at that point. My food was the blandest, worst thai food I have ever eaten - how is the word spice even in the name? I would not eat here even if there was no other option. No way!

worst thai food i've ever had world wide

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! The food is HORRIBLE! The people are RUDE! I placed an order and the restaurant screwed up my order and put me on "their list" of "DO NOT SERVES". I was in the bathroom and noticed an employee did not wash his hands after doing number 2. They CONSTANTLY screw up your orders delivering dishes you DID NOT order. I called one night to get the owner's name and some idiot had the audacity to hang up on me 4X THEN...........doesn't even have the guts to pick up the phone after I called consistently for over 30 minutes. BELIEVE ME.........I wasn't chasing them for food because they are so wonderful. I'm familiar with their dishes and it's convenient. I HAVE NEWS FOR THE SCUMB THERE THAT BARELY SPEAK ENGLIGH, MUCH LESS CAN'T REALLY PROPERLY COOK THEIR OWN FOOD RIGHT..............there are MANY (MANY) other better restaurants and believe me...........this one will experience its demise!

Terrible Take-Out Experience

I love Thai food and was so excited to find a restaurant that was so highly recommended to deliver. I ordered two items and when they arrived I found that both were nothing close to what I had actually ordered. My girlfriend's order was supposed to be vegetarian and, none the less, included shrimp, which she is allergic to. Also, these orders came with a special surprise: hair. I can guarantee that this was not part of my order. I would have proffered a refund, but this option was not made available, so I ordered again. When I finally received the new order the delivery man was incredibly rude, accused my of eating the food I did not want and literally ran away when I went to check the new order. I really hate having to write a negative review, but not only was I disgusted by the lack of professionalism by the preparation staff, but the delivery man was incredibly rude and suggested that I had not tipped high enough. I hope this serves as a warning to any potential customers.

Amazing hot fried rice with crispy tofu

So I read some of the other reviews which weren't too favorable, but I decided to take a few friends and give it a shot. Well I am very glad we did. I enjoyed their spicy friend rice with crunchy tofu and a side of peanut sauce so much that I signed up for citysearch for the sole purpose of writing a review.

Our server was prompt and very friendly, so I would visit their location rather than get delivery

I am not the end all be all of thai eateries, but this place tops Citris club in the haight by far!

Not very good

I only ate here once but that was enough for me. The service was decent enough but the food wasn't good at all. My panang chicken was watery and my soup tasted soapy. I couldn't eat much of it. There are much better Thai places in the neighborhood.

Totally Disappointed

Ordered delivery and the food was cold, bad, and it wasn't the right order. It was still edible, but probably the worst Thai I have ever had. Plus, it's more expensive then most places. I highly recommend Little Thai down the street.

my son told me that the food at this place is good, so I went and tried it. I agree with him. Fabulous food, I love Thai food.

amazing food, nice staff, great ambiance

I have eaten here about 25 times in the past 3 years, and have never been disappointed. This is not a Thai food mill like so many others - lots of interesting options, with amazing choices for vegetarians. Don't miss the spinach rolls!

Worth a drive from outside SF.

Cold delivery

While I do like the food at Thai Spice, the last few times I have ordered delivery it has taken over an hour for them to deliver. And the last time I ordered they delivered me food that was completely cold. When I called to let them know they seemed not to really care and did not offer to rectify the situtaion in any way. Disappointing because this was once my favorite thai delivery restaurant.
