It doesn't get any better than free, plus, you will witness the complex system of wire, mechanics and pulleys that operate the cable car system. It's unbelievable how much activity takes place to make this historic mode of transportation possible. The location is near other points of interest and the gift shop has great items of memorabilia. This a great point of interest for visitors to the city and residents alike.
A fascinating educational venue that reveals lots about San Francisco's signature mode of transportation.
