I highly recommend Michelle for color and Leslie for a haircut. Michelle gives me beach blond highlights that get sooo many compliments and are the best I've had in Texas or California. Leslie's "bedside manner" is terrific. She spends the necessary time on a consultation, and I come out with long, subtle layers that have great shape and movement. Both Michelle and Leslie are immensely talented, kind, and pleasant.

Masumi did thermal conditioning on my hair, and it came out STUNNING! My hair has never looked so shiny and healthy. I swear by her talents and highly recommend her.

I've always done my eyebrows myself and either over-tweezed or let them get out of control, I decited to have a specialist shape them. Marisa at Elevation salon did an amazing job. She even gave me a complimentary make-up touch up so I looked great when I left the salon. Now every 4 weeks I go in to have her clean up my arch on my lunch break and it's one less thing I have to worry about in my crazy life. Everyone should treat themselves to this experiance. I'll be back for make-up lessons from Marisa soon!!

Atis (for highlights - especially good for blonds) & Russ (for cuts) are FANTASIC! I HIGHLY recommend both! I have only positive things to say about my overall salon experience at Elevations & I have been a client now for over two years.

I'm surprised no one has raved about Jane yet! She has been coloring my hair the perfect blonde for years now. My hair used to be short because it would always break before I found Jane (through Allure mag.) because I like to be really blonde but, she has managed to give me my favorite color without it breaking. Now my hair is acutally shiny and healthy and past my shoulders!! Her color is always consistent, my hair has lots of, as she puts it "dimension", I always get compliments, I just love it, and her. I don't cut my hair very often but when I do it looks great too, but if you are looking for perfect color, see Jane.

My colorist left to go to another salon. The facility itself is very sleek and modern. The prices are a bit high and, unfortunately, I didn't really feel comfortable enough with any of the other staff that I worked with to continue there after my colorist moved.

Having just moved here from LA, i was very worried i would have a hard time replacing my old colorist. Well...i found the perfect place at Elevation Salon. I did alot of research online looking at different salons in the city and i'm very fussy and particular about the color of my hair. I don't want what everyone else has. I have brunette hair and i like rich, gorgeous looking highlights that won't ruin the condition of my hair. Michael Perry is new to Elevation Salon but he's very experienced and just arrived from the East Coast. He totally "gets it". He gave me a great consultation and i was able to communicate what i wanted and he also gave me great suggestions and recommendations. I felt like i was in good hands right from the start. He's going to have a superstar reputation here in SF in no time! I will definitely be back. I love the color, it's beautiful and worth every penny! Thanks Michael...you're awesome! I also like the salon because it's very modern and clean yet still very inviting and comfortable. It was great from start to finish!

As soon as I walked in, the receptionist and staff greeted me and took me to change. They even offered me something to drink from their cafe. Masumi colored my hair beautifully. The color has lasted and hasn't changed. My hair is glowing, and I've gotten many compliments! Highly recommended!

Atis is the best colorist in San Francisco ,I moved to SF from NYC and went to the best colorist in NYC ,I have to say Atis out did my old colorist highlights . I have been so happy with my hair .. If your looking for a colorist call him you need him.

I just had my hair colored by Marie and I must say that I have never had such a beautiful color job. She was able to give me the contrast and depth that I sought without any of the "reds" that like to creep into my hair. She really knows her stuff and has an amazing eye for color and sense for what should be done.

Pros: Excellent job by colorist

Cons: costly but worth it
