Wonderful food if they can deliver what you order the first time would definately be a big help. Being willing to correct it would be a bigger help. I don't think all three of us made the same mistake. Won't be back anytime soon...
- Pros: great food, high class, popular place
- Cons: poor service

Gourmet Mexican
by CherryBomb at Citysearch
This place fills a wole I didn't realize the City had: a lack of upscale Mexican food. You will like this place if you like the basic flavors of mexican cuisine (mole, adobo, cilantro) fancied up. I've had 2 excellent meals here, and the margaritas are strong!
The Best Margaritas
by Dragonfly at Citysearch
This place makes the best Margarita's, even better then Tommy's. Although this is a little more upscale its worth the extra bucks you pay for quality. The guacamole and food is super!
- Pros: Great Drinks
- Cons: Location
Great drinks

Great drinks for Happy Hour. Food can be a little expensive, but very good. Certainly recommend it.
Viva la Maya!
by rubybliss at Citysearch
If you're like the people who have been complaining that the food was "too expensive and not authentic enough"... go to the mission and eat in a taqueria. But if you want to enjoy an inventive and creative mexican meal, then I definitely recommend Maya. The menu was extensive and had so many enticing and delicious sounding choices, it was really hard to decide. It was not a cheap evening, but they have an option of a starter + entree + dessert for $29.99... unless you're planning to drink yourself under the table, it's not all that expensive for a nice evening out in a beautiful restaurant. (Top shelf margaritas were absolutely delicious, by the way.) Our server was very friendly as well as efficient, and overall we had a great dinner. Definitely recommended!
- Pros: delicious drinks, great menu, beautiful decor
- Cons: city parking
Overpriced
by expdine at Citysearch
This place is way overpriced. The food is not that great and servings are small. Not your typical Mexican cuisine. For 27$ you receive a very small portion filet mignon and very small side dish. Not worth it.
- Cons: Overpriced, Bad Service
Not bad - far from great

Yes, drinks are expensive, but it's a nice place for a happy hour.
Once was enough

We walked in and after eating we wished we had walked out before ordering. The service was dreadful. The food was okay, but nothing like we have had in Mexico. We will never go back.
- Cons: Service, Mediocre food
