Great after a Giants game!. This is the place to be after a Giants game! Especially if they win! The crowd is happy and the beer tastes that much better after a good win. The beer selection is always changing so you can try something new every time you're there. The watermelon beer is just OK, but it seems like a lot of people like it. I of course went with their IPA, which again, of course, was delish! I want to try this place again when it isn't so crowded so I can enjoy the good food selections without the big crowd.

Fun place for good local beer. I went to 21st A on a regular tuesday night out for beers after work and really liked it. I sat at the bar, tried one of their creative brews (watermelon wheat - refreshing) and ended up trying one of their "beer cocktails" too. Fun!

Don't go on a game day by accident like I did the other night. My own fault. (Sh*t show for sure. Super drunk people - tons of them.)

awesome brews and pub food best in SF. View the full Vindivine review here: h*ttp://bit.ly/pN0MM Since it's a brew pub, we'll start there. They always have a line up of 6-8 house brews plus a guest pour or two. Some of the best include the Watermelon Wheat (hey don't call it a girlie beer, there's 400 lbs of melon in each batch. Yummy), Opening Day IPA (hoppy but not too hoppy), General Pippo's Porter (essence of coffee and chocolate) and when they have it, the Double Trouble (or is it Triple? Or am I just thinking about the Beastie Boys?) Anyhoo, it packs a wallop so don't turn your back on it.

First, how many times have I treated this watering hole like my beeyaatch and not given in the h-u-g-e props it deserves as both a watering hole and an eating hole?

If your from out of town and Love Great Microbrews, Food, and Service you need to STOP HERE!. First of all the only bad thing here is the parking and I had no change for the meter BUT I did have cash. Living in Portland now, I walk in feeling a little weird about having to ask the bartender for meter change, I get a big smile and she says of course how much do you want. WOW!, not used to that.

This is the most friendly and accommodating brew pub I've ever been to. I think they knew I was from out of town but made me feel like I belonged there. It was a great relaxing feeling. The food was really good, the beer even better and the server and the bartender were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. If I lived there this would be the place I would stop off at every night to unwind and relax after work. In April I will be taking another vacation in which I will be stopping in the city there for a few days to do some cycling and hiking in the park at Muir Woods on my way to my hometown to visit friends and family. I also plan to stop in here at least twice for more of the dark IPA (can't remember the name) Even if I have to park blocks away, I will, knowing it will be worth the walk. If you live in the city and haven't been there yet, you've been missing out. If your cruising in from out of town, seriously, Make plans to stop in. I hope you will love this place as much as I did and do.

Happy Hanger.... Wow. Went to 21st last night with co-workers to celebrate some recent success. We arrived just before the "Happy Hour" deals ended at 5:30pm. We ordered wings, calamari, fries and a couple of pizza- all were tasty. We sat upstairs for a bit more room and privacy. A game was on tv and the atmorspher was fun. Warning: I had a couple of IPA's and boy, do they provide a whallop the next morning.

Great happy hour location. Hosted a company happy hour upstairs last night and had a great time there. Plenty of flat panels around to watch the game, $3 appetizers and $3 pints. The IPA and Watermelon Wheat were very popular. The staff was attentive and helpful. Be careful, the brewpub beers sneak up on you a bit (both at the time and the next morning).

HORRIBLE. Me and my boyfriend have been there plenty of times. Everytime to be greeted with horrible service: our food got taken away without asking if we had finished, I got sprayed with beer because the bartender was inexperienced at using a bartap (not to mention he didn't take our order till he passed us about 5 times eventhough the bartap was right in front of us), our waitstaff is always unfriendly, this is the last time we will ever go there - i ordered a vodka cranberry and my boyfriend a screwdriver, which tasted like cranberry juice and orange juice (after I told them my first drink tasted like just juice). I would rather goto BURGER KING than go to this horrible place, i'm sorry if i'm paying for a dinner at a "RESTAURANT" i expect it. They should just stick to serving beer and food to hicks!

So slow. Ordered a "to go" order and was told it would take 15-20 minutes. Okay, well, a little long, but I could use a break. When my order was still not ready 30 minutes later I was getting a little steamed. 40 minutes after I ordered, I finally got my hamburger (yes, that's all I ordered). No one came by to check on me, offer me water or apologize for the delay. I know this isn't "fast food" but 40 minutes is unacceptable. I'm never going back.

SOMA beer stop. Excellent brewpub, with great happy hour prices and tasty food. Easy to access from public transport, well worth seeking out. Service is excellent if a bit neutral on the friendliness. Maybe if you're a regular.....? Good place to kick back and enjoy a few brews.
