A casual vibe and eclectic menu lure downtown workers to this bustling spot.

In Short
By day, diners line up for a lunch that's quick but doesn't skimp on quality as the kitchen turns out heaping platters of burgers, sandwiches and salads. In the evenings, the bar and dining room fill up with patrons looking for post-work cocktails and amped-up American cuisine. Pub grub faves such as chicken wings and potato skins are side by side on the menu with more eclectic fare, like Indonesian chicken skewers.
Ok - but stick to union

I've been here a few times after work and the location is nice. The layout is cool, but the service is a little scattered and unorganized. The food was nothing great, but it is a lively crowd. I'd go back for happy hour but not for a meal it's much more of a bar scene than a good place to eat. I do like Perry's on Union however and will stick to the original.
- Pros: bar, lively scene
- Cons: food, service
pretty nice

i wouldn't come here for the food alone but they have a few things going for them. They're in a great location for after work. They have a fun lay out with good drinks and always have a game on so it's usually a fun lively crowd. The foods ok, but nothing spectacular. Will return, overall it's always a good experience.
- Pros: atmosphere, drinks, location
- Cons: food is so so
Downtown version of an SF favorite!

A perfect spot for downtown business types and tourists alike. Great for weekday lunch and after work cocktails. Casual, energetic atmosphere with quality food and drinks. Free apps during happy hour and interesting drink specials.
- Pros: Burgers, Happy Hour
Amazing salads, great for business lunch

Perry's Downtown has a very different look and feel than Perry's on Union Street. With lots of dark wood and checkered table cloths downstairs, Perry's Downtown has an old-San Francisco atmosphere. The salads are large and delicious, and the burgers and fish equally as tasty. Perfect for lunch during the week and of course, lobster madness!
- Pros: location, menu, atmosphere
