Hami and his team at Auto Dynamik are knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable. When I need work done on my 1972 BMW 2002tii, I know that Hami treats it as it were his own car. Hami goes beyond complete adeptness at routine maintenance on this car: he is also able to accurately troubleshoot the odd mechanical challenges that pop up now and then--and fix them. I recommend Auto Dynamik without reservations. They are that good.

I went to several garages before finding Auto Dyn. and I've never felt better about car maintenance. It's actually enjoyable now. I know Hami will tell me the truth about what I need and don't need for my car (orig and old beamer and now a passat) and he is so reasonable with his prices. Plus, Cynthia, Rachel and everyone there are always so sweet. If you are worrited about the quality of work being done on your car or being ripped off, then you are at the wrong garage. Go to Hami and end your search for a safe car repair haven. You and your car will receive the best care. Truly a family run, honest, nice business. THE BEST! Thank you, Auto Dyn!

Pros: reliable repairs, reasonable prices, rides to and from work or bart, sweet family

Cons: ???you could zoom right by the garage your first time if you don't watch for it carefully

My husband and I have been going to Auto Dynamik since 1990. Though we can bring our cars to a nearby body shop close by where we live, I would rather bring them to Auto Dynamik . First of all I trust the quality of work Hami does and I like the customer service they offer, friendly and helpful. The price is not cheap but it's worth our money.

I needed to get a water pump replaced because my car is losing coolant fluid. They charged me $135 while Kragen has the part for $50 (or $40 for refurbished). I called around and found that other shops typically charged $70-100 for the part, but since I had aleady commited $110 for the diagnostic workup, I felt I was committed. When I asked if I could bring in a cheaper part, they said that I could but that I would lose all warranties (90 day warranty on labor / 1 yr warranty on the part). In the end, I sucked it up and let them do the job, but I can't tell if it was worth the extra money or not. Time will tell.

Pros: they seem to have fixed the coolant leak

Cons: can't bring in part from outside without voiding warranty

Hami came recommended to me by Kwan Kong from Beyond2 in Millbrae. I'd been having some engine problems and had actually already tried other shops to no avail. Needless to say they didn't get it done and, with me, you screw up the first time you don't get a second shot. By the time I took my '74 2002 tii to Auto Dynamik I was skeptical. I was still a little apprehensive even when I drove it out of his garage. The problem was gone but how long would it last? (the previous mechanic's fixes lasted about a day 'til the problem reared it ugly head again) Well, it's been awhile now and I'm still very pleased. The old girl's still purrin' like a kitten...well, at least as much as a 32 year old car can. Auto Dynamik's great. I don't see myself going anywhere else.

Pros: quality workmanship, friendly

Cons: took long, though I did tell him i was in no rush so...

Very nice people. Prices were expensive compared to other shops, but the shop was clean and people were competent.

Hami and his wife are geniunely friendly people and take pride in what they do. My car needed to have the brakes fixed, as well as the heater repaired. I also thought my shocks needed replacing, but after checking them, Hami called to tell me that they were fine! Wow, I was astounded...any other place would have "fixed" them and charged me. I will definately bring my car back here, and tell all my friends about this shop. Thanks AD!!

Auto Dynamik is the best car repair service I've ever used ! I feel confident that they are not going to manufacture problems to fix and will fix what is wrong for the best price possible. Hami and Cynthia are gracious, personable and go out of their way to help. Case in point: I arrived to pick up my car the first time I used AD, having fallen and broken my elbow just moments before arriving, and though Hami and I had not met prior to this moment - when the taxi he called for me didn't arrive in a timely fashion to take me to the hospital - Hami drove me across town in rush hour traffic, with little his son in the back seat, to make sure I got to the emergency room safely. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Tracy

My husband and I have taken three different cars to Hahmee and Cynthia over the past 11 years, and we've always been confident they would give us good service and good advice. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been taking a variety of cars to Hami for 12+ years, BMW and VW. He even gave me a warning when my 15 year old VW was slowly fading away, that the car was safe but that a few things may begin to deteriorate and that the fixes would be more than the value of the car. I always appreciate his opinion, sometimes it is best to move onto a different car. But he still services my 20 year old BMW because I can't part w/ it.

Pros: Honest, Estimates on target, Timeliness

Cons: Neighborhood
