Sundays Rock TOO!

by marcony

My favorite event in SF! A patio full of friendly dudes drinking a whole lot of beer and listening to great music. Also, DOUG rules!!

  • Pros: Crowd, Patio, Doug
  • Cons: Too short

This SoMa biker bar with a gigantic outdoor patio draws an upbeat gay and indie-rock crowd.

In Short
The indoor space has rock-star appeal with red and blue spotlights, metal decor and racy license plates. A pool table occupies the back of the room, except during concerts when it's replaced by a raised-stage. Thursday night's live music show features rock, blues or funk bands for a small cover fee. An enormous outdoor patio features two bar stations, a fire pit, heat lamps and wooden lounge chairs.

Great!

by axismontreal

My fav. place in SF. Friendly staff. Leathermen, hot bears, punk boys, gay rockabilly guys, skinheads + their girlfriends mingle to the sound of rock music. Finally a place that feels like home. I wish every city had a gay bar with this type of atmosphere. Check out the heated patio!

  • Pros: staff, inexpensive

Good tuesday night fun

by withonen

I was there with a bunch friends on a Tuesday night... although not my usual type of place to hang out, it was a fun time. The place was not crowded at all (I hear it's really crowded other nights of the week), the bartender was very friendly, and the patio area in the back is very cool! The bathrooms are a bit on the sketchy side (no locks or no doors).

love beer bust

by jameswevley_citysearch

I've been to the Eagle on a few different nights of the week, but, the Sunday beer bust is definitely the time to go. Great, sexy crowd and cheap beer--what more do you need? Also, some of the nicest bartenders in the city.

More church than the EndUp for those of us who've had long weekend and just need to rock out w/ our c***s out -- SUNDAY BEER BUST. The best. And absolute babe bartenders.
