I ate at the Moonstar Buffet before a show at the Orpheum Theater (right across the street). I found most of the food to be pretty good, and the price was reasonable for what was on offer. I did, however, find a few items to be just beyond nasty tasting (and I love Asian food!)---for instance, the egg rolls tasted like they had been out for about 3 days....like they were bad. The seafood-crab legs in particular tasted OK, just excessively salty. Shrimp was along the same line. The sushi was better than average (and a real bargain, considering!), and the chix chow mein, green beans were terrific! Dessert was good too. Be selective...and stick to the buffet so that if you don't like what is on the plate....you can always get something else!
Pros: reasonable prices, excellent sushi, convenient location
Cons: awful egg rolls
