Straight Up!

by bigdrums

Sam is one of the very few honest merchants left in the music world...Not only does he have a wide selection of great new and used drums, cymbles and hardware, but very fair pricing, and even buys your extra instruments as well, without insulting you by lowballing. He's a throw back to the good ol' honest days. He's an asset to drummers everywhere!

  • Pros: experienced, knowledgeable, honest

CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

by intrakor13

I've been a client of Sam since the beginning of SADS, and I have to say that he, after ten years of selling used drums, still has the market cornered. SADS is the place to be for new and used equipment in the bay area. Sam also rocks hard on the set, so hold on to your hats, kids! Wrekking Machine still rules!

HEIL SAM ADATO! you are the best. you give SF something to be proud of.

Shop there NOW.

Excellent service

by beefvindaloo

Well I'm a convert. I had gone along to the Guitar Center sale where they were offering "buy 1 pair of drumsticks, get 11 free". The sticks were crap and I noticed they were selling a used Gretsch Grand Prix (retails NEW for $500) for $1200.

Sam Adato's couldn't be more of a contrast. He's helpful, knowledgable, and best of all, won't sell you anything you don't need. I went in to buy new heads and ended up bringing my kit in, after talking to him. He tuned them the best they've ever heard, and told me I didn't need new heads. Then he didn't charge me a dime! I was blown away and better yet, when I got my drums back to the studio, I was suddenly a better drummer. Sam Adato's won't cost you more than GC et al. in fact, you'll be a better musician for it.

  • Pros: Helpful, Approachable, Knowledgable
