After trying on, oh, three thousand dresses and still having no idea what I wanted (slinky? beaded? simple?), it was nice to walk in here and have Marie help narrow it down for me. I told her I was thinking not strapless, not too poofy, sorta elegant but casual enough for my cocktail party of a wedding and in a (pretty low) price range. She pulled a bunch of dresses and I actually found this gorgeous silk sheath that has a '30s Old Hollywood-style vibe. She actually listened to what I wanted, didn't try to sell me on a more expensive dress and though she offered to hook me up with a veil, shoes and jewelry, wasn't pushy when I said I wasn't ready to buy the whole shebang. Overall, very positive experience and I'd recommend.
