my mommy makeover

After having 3 kids in the last 8 years, my stomach and thighs had seen better days. I work out regularly, but still couldn’t get rid of the extra skin on my lower stomach and my saddlebags. So I figured it was time to step it up and get some extra help. I started researching “mommy makeover” surgeries…I was looking for a highly recommended doctor in SF and came across Dr. Rajagopal. I checked out her office near Union Square during my free consultation. The staff is soooo nice, and Dr. R herself is amazing!!! We decided on a tummy tuck and then liposuction on my inner and outer thighs. The recovery was hard but truly not as terrible as I had anticipated (by the way, I’m a total pain wimp). I could not be happier with the results of my surgeries! My tummy is flat and I can wear a bikini again (the scar is hidden by my bathing suit)…I haven’t worn a two piece bathing suit at all since having my kids. My stretch marks went bye-bye with the skin that was removed, so that was an extra plus. Next I plan on having a breast lift by Dr. R in the next year or so. I feel awesome and confident again! I would definitely recommend Dr. R to anyone looking for a great plastic surgeon in San Francisco.

Tattoo Removal

This place is great for laser tattoo removal. Jeannie is awesome, and Dr. Rajagopal is soooo nice...had a small tattoo on my lower back and one larger one on my arm...the usual tattoo regret...I have been there 3 times so far....and the tattoo is almost all gone. Great prices, clean, very professional. Highly recommend it!

Go here for Botox!

There's a lot of places to go for botox juvederm in San Francisco: spas, plastic surgery centers, dermatology centers. My friend told me that she had botox and juvederm done at San Francisco Plastic Surgery and Laser Center because they had great pricing and special packages that get you one or two free treatments, so I thought I'd check it out. Like Samantha from s*x and the city says "Love isn't a sure thing, but Botox is." The botox and juvederm treatments made my face look 10 years younger! The nurse, Jeanie, that gave me the botox and juvederm injections was such a sweetheart.

One thing that I thought was pretty interesting? the doctor told me that many plastic surgery centers and spas are able to charge lower rates on botox & juvederm because they 1. Dilute the botox / juevederm 2. They are purchasing botox and juvederm at lower rates from Canada & Mexico (which is pretty illegal & unsafe?their botox & juvederm isn't FDA approved). Breast Implants: A Dream Come True

Its embarrassing to admit to having any sort of plastic surgery procedure? I made a separate citysearch account just to review San Francisco plastic surgery and laser center, because I wanted to tell everyone how great I thought they were for my breast augmentation surgery.

I have been dreaming about getting plastic surgery since I was 13 and my cousin teased me because her breasts developed and mine didn't. I longed for plastic surgery when my mom caught me purchasing "natural herbs" to make my breasts grow at the age of 15. And I cried about how bad I wanted plastic surgery when my boyfriend laughed at me at the age of 18 when he realized how padded my bra was.

Getting breast implants was everything I wanted it to be in the end. A friend recommended me to Usha, and I immediately decided she was the right plastic surgeon for me. I had checked out a couple other plastic surgery centers, but knew the moment I met Usha that she was going to be the one to make my dreams come true. She's very confident, has tons of experience, and made me feel right at home. I felt like an old friend was going to perform the surgery on me. I'm sure the fact that she is a female plastic surgeon made me feel more at ease.

The results? I went on a bra, dress, and shirt shopping spree a week after my surgery, and never felt so confident about my body before, ever. My breasts look great! I spent an hour just looking at myself in the mirror and admiring how everything fit. If you are like me and used to dread bathing suit shopping and always felt a bit of shame on dates, get breast aug, AND go to SF Plastic Surgery & Laser Center!

Great lipo experience w/Dr. Rajagopal

Great consultation and pre-surgery instructions w/ Dr. Rajagopal - answered all my questions patiently. When I brought up other procedures other doctors recommended during consults, she was very honest and told me I really didn't need them! And honest in the results I could expect. Never felt like I was being sold anything. Prices very reasonable compared to others I checked out and felt nothing was compromised for it.

Morning of surgery, the nurse very competent and caring and provided something like Valium to help calm my nerves before I went in to the OR. Anesthesiologist friendly and did a great job - don't remember a thing! Surgery itself went smoothly. Great results. Done in their facilities, which were great.

After surgery: Very interested in post-op recovery - made sure I had filled my prescriptions for pain killers before surgery and had enough to get me through (though didn't need very much). Had a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me in the recovery room, follow up phone calls to make sure I was okay. Staff was great and communicated with my ride while I was out of it, and helped me to my car.

Overall, great experience. They seem very conscious of making sure patients are as comfortable as possible before, during and after procedure. I felt I could trust Dr. Rajagopal completely - her professional experience, artistry and judgment. I am planning on having a more complicated procedure with her.

Perfect Breasts!!!

It was very important to me to have an experienced, female doctor perform my breast augmentation surgery. Usha is an incredibly nurturing, warm person that loves what she does (and it shows!). The results were excellent. I always wanted to have breast augmentation surgery ever since I was 14, and it was the best decision! I don't dread dress shopping anymore because everything fits great!

Absolutely Amazing Surgeon, Staff and Environment!!! One of the Best in the World!!!

Dr. Rajagopal is a truely gifted surgeon who's artistic eye along with superior surgery skills and knowledge has given me a result beyond belief. I did some major research before I chose Dr. R and I'm glad I had become a "smart" consumer/patient because finding a surgeon as gifted as her is super rare these days as it seems many plastic surgeon's often look at patients as just another number. This was not the case at SFCS, throughout the entire process I was treated with warmth, comfort and care, all attributes Dr. R and her staff possess. I was nervous going into the office at first for the consultation but the staff treated me with respect and were extremely professional. In addition, the consultation with Dr. R (and also her nurse assistant) left my leaving with the thought "Okay, this person definately knows what she is talking about and this is where I want my Gyne surgery done" due to the positive info and feedback I had recieved. My dream of getting rid of this "nightmare" if you will, would soon come true as I have recieved a result beyond my expectations. Dr. R and staff also went out of their way in order to fit me into an earlier date, by accomadating my needs and giving me an outstanding new look (no more man b's) I recommend Dr. R highly to anyone wanting to have this procedure done and would except no other substitute. The pain was minimal (prescription med's for comfort) and the healing was no problem. I was also sent home with a boquet of flowers right after my surgery was over. Oh, and the surgery went great, one moment you'll be speaking to the doctor about taking a vacation, the next your fading into lala land (anethsia) and finally you come out of it greeted by the nurses with flowers ready to escort you out of the OR. You couldn't ask for a better surgical experience. I wish I had more stars to give...

Where plastic surgeons go for their cosmetic surgery

As a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Texas for over a decade, I was faced with an odd predicament. I had excess fat under my chin but couldn't do liposuction on myself. After carefully considering the 50-or-so plastic surgeons that I know, I chose to fly to San Francisco to have Dr. Rajagopal perform my surgery. I have always known her to be kind, considerate, technically gifted, and artistic, and the decision was actually easier than I thought it would be. The surgery went smoothly. I am now one week postop. I have not required any pain medication. I started working two days after surgery, and already I am unable to find my incisions. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Thank you, Dr. Rajagopal.

My two additions are top notch!

Dr. Rajagopal and her staff have been absolutely wonderful. I have had a couple of other consults for breast augmentation before and was always turned off by the state of their office, or the not customer service oriented-ness of their staff, or the fact that the doc thinks that DD is the minimum you should go. Dr Rajagopal did a wonderful job on my breasts, and any concerns I had have been quelled immediately by a quick call to the office. My second favorite person was the anesthesiologist. He did a wonderful job with the needle, which I am usually terrified of. I barely even felt a stab (they wouldn't allow me to use the word pr*ck, hahaha) and he kept me laughing and joking till I was in la la land. Next thing I know I am waking up in recovery and heading home. I would recommend her to anyone interested in plastic surgery, she made the whole experience easy. Parking was a little pricey under the building. $6.50 for the first hour or something like that.
