More of a spa - depends on what you want from a gym. This club is bright and clean, has a nice pool and lots and lots of free, clean towels and even robes. Unfortunately, as someone else mentioned the weight room is tiny and they only have one set of each free weight. So one of the 25 lb weights was "out for repairs" and I guess they can't get another one from somewhere in the meantime. The staff were pleasant but they looked like they were used to baffled visitors asking for basic services they can't provide. Definitely not a place to visit if you want to use weights. They had about a dozen various aerobic machines but it must be crowded at rush hour. The men's locker room is inexplicably vast. I am staying at a nearby hotel and went because it is billed as full service gym but it was only marginally better than the one at my hotel.

This place is great!. This club is always spotless, has great equipment, great variety and all the amenities you could want. I love it there! Also the staff are extremely professional and friendly. Dues are less than other upscale clubs so I think it's a very good value plus they have 5 other locations in the city.

Tiny. The locker room is larger than the fitness area....Seriously, the men's locker room has lockers for more people than the tiny fitness area can accomodate. I'd agree with other reviews that this gym gets the hand-me-down equipment from other locations. I liked the Yerba Buena location but recently moved to Nob Hill and thought I'd give this a whirl. Now I'm looking for a new gym.
