From hair disaster to hair masterpiece!. I will highly recommend Gene. I am from New York, where I had a great stylist to whom I was very loyal. When I moved to California, I suffered through many bad haircuts, desperately searching for someone I could count on. Then, one haircut bothered me SOOO much that my boyfriend made me an appointment with Gene to fix it. I don't live in San Francisco, but I can tell you one thing for sure: You can bet I'll be here to see Gene when I need a haircut!

I have long, thick, wavy hair, and I like the "long layers" look. Gene fixed my whole horrible, boring last cut with a razor (which I had never seen before), and I felt like such a princess when he was done that I couldn't help but hug him!
