Scenic Views and Great Food

I walked into the restaurant and couldn't believe how spectacular the view was. The sun was just setting on the Golden Gate view side of the restaurant and I felt I was in the heavens. The duck entree I ordered was delicious and the desserts are spectacular!

• Pros: Free Parking w/dinner, bar open till 2am, VIEW!

Go for the view, not for the food

Who can complain about the view when you're situated on the top floor of a high-rise looking over city lights, bridges and water? If you want a good view of San Francisco, I suggest you just come for drinks (although the bar is at the center of the restaurant).

We were 5 minutes early for our reservation, but the hostess asked us to wait by the bar even though the restaurant was 1/4 filled. It didn't seem like they were understaffed either. Whatever the reason, that really annoyed me.

The food was only so-so amd the service was acceptable. I just wouldn't recommend this place for the money they charge -- you can do better than CityScape.

Best brunch

Excellent place for brunch. Love the panoramic view .Brought my parents here, and there is enough selection to satisfy everybody. Waffles are the best! The ice sculpture is a work of art. Will come back.

Should have valet parking on Taylor street entrance and O'Farrell entrance.

Love this place!! Fabulous brunch, great view, excellent service! Validated parking is a major plus ! If you come often, the staff remembers and recognizes you ! Makes me feel on top of the world !!!

Great view, great food, great service! A fantastic experience ! Complimentary parking is a plus ! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Birthday, anniversary, prom, out of town guests, graduation, ... this is the place !

Just go for dessert and drink

This is a great place for after dinner dessert and drinks, save your money and have dinner elsewhere. The view and restaurant setting was great. Staff wasn't very friendly though!

Great View, but not of the food!

Nice ambience in an empty restaurant. Having a few expensive drinks and enjoying the view I thought that the food would be a nice accessory. The food was bland and dry. I guess one is wishing too much to get such a view and good eats at the same time. I will settle for the view only.

Food was aweful!!

This place is great to maybe enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the view, but aweful place for dinner. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, and had made reservations and mentioned that it was his birthday. They said they would make a note of it and do something special. When we had arrived my name was not even on the list for having made reservations. But it was no problem, the restaurant was empty, and now I know why. I had the salmon and it was very tasteless, as my boyfriend had prawns, and they were also tasteless. I will never come back to this restaurant for dinner, but maybe for a few drinks after a show.

Views and Great American Fare

Cityscape is a great restaurant to go when you want to get above everything and eat with a view of SF. This place is great for anything from brunch to a fine meal when the relatives in are in town. The service is always great and the food matches the view!!!
