Bomb Lunch and Breakfast!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in san francisco. The staff is friendly, and the food is ligit and good. If you like southern food, then you don't need to go much farther than this place. It offers what i think to be the best fried chicken in San Francisco, and best breakfast. Since it is only open until 2:30 p.m., I recommend getting there early. Sometimes the wait can be a bummer, but its definitely worth it.

• Pros: All the food is as good as food can be.
• Cons: You must get there early, or you'll have to wait.

Buttery yellow walls, maroon tablecloths, wispy curtains on the windows and magazines for browsing give this casual eatery a warm, cozy feel. Serious home cooking arrives in the form of sweet potato pancakes, fried chicken, grits and hush puppies. No-nonsense servers are friendly and keep the coffee coming, just the way this bleary eyed brunch crowd likes it.
