Will never go back there again

I would avoid this restaurant at all cost. We took some out of country friends there for dinner and were highly embarrased by poor service and poor quality of food, served with no style in beat up dishes and no garnish. The overall experience was bad.

First they forgot one of the two appetizers we ordered. We ended up sharing 2 samosas between 4 people and waiting for the other appetizer. We ordered 4 pieces of bread, they brought one and fifteen minutes later, they brought the other three breads. The chicken tikka was so tough, I had to use chutney to swallow it. I have never had such poor Chicken Tikka. Then, even though they were not crowded, they ran out of all desserts. They had no Indian desserts, only icecream was available.

The food was tasteless, this was the worst prepared Indian food in my experience of eating out. I can tell good Indian food from bad, as I cook Indian food a lot and have eaten Indian cuiine at many restaurants around the world.

Horrible service - just plain rude

I set up a reservation for a party here. Never received calls back regarding the details. I provided confirmation, but they decided to ignore it and double book. When I called back to ask what happened, they hung up on me.

Disappointed

The ambiance is nice, but that's about it. It's overpriced and the service was poor. We ordered a set menu and had to request everything, rather than receiving volunteered service. Upon request, the waiter looked upset. Refusing to open the other half of the restaurant when there was a wait , my friends and I were urged to leave by the waiter. As we were leaving, the manager told the waiter that he did a good job. The food was underwhelming. I prefer Naan N' Curry or Star of India.

Waste of money

Ambience doesnt make for everything. Dont bother with this place. Neither is the food great nor are the quantities served.

Look at the decor, avoid the food.

The dining room is attractive. It's unfortunate that the food does not match the decor. In fact, the food has nothing to recommend it. Add poor service and high prices to that and you have a bad situation. Seating is usually prompt because very few people will be there so you will have a choice of tables.
