My experience. I had a very good time. It is very friendly. They even serve alcohol there. I now have a new favorite sake. Tyku i think its called. I was only visiting but I would sure come back if I was ever in the area.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Horatius, the spacious, barn chic, warehouse-sized marketplace in Potrero, from the outside at least, seems like it's just one more exorbitantly expensive custom design house, omnipresent in this part of town.Instead, the curious will discover it is a very cool culinary center with a bunch of different uses. First, it’s a gourmet marketplace offering hard-to-find items such as manzanita honey, goat butter, Umbrian black truffles, and Sicilian-slated capers. It’s also where the local 9-to-5 crowd pops in for coffee and scratch-baked pastries made onsite every morning and for lunch can grab a quick sandwich, salad, or even a burger. Dinner is a more formal affair and occasion to highlight the spot’s Portuguese-Mediterranean specialties, such as the Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá, a lush dish of salted cod, potatoes, onions, black olives, and sliced hard-boiled eggs, and incidentally, the national dish of Portugal The site also offers wine classes (which focuses on its large selection of Portuguese wines for sale) and cooking demonstrations.
