1/2 price wine on Tuesdays!. The restaurant is much larger then the Marina location and has great windows that open out to the Embarcadero. 1/2 price wine bottles on Tuesdays! A great deal! Oh and the French Fries are delicious.

Dependable lunch place. Not a fine dining destination but a good place to grab a relaxed lunch on the waterfront. Active happy hour, too.

Mix with the City's Movers & Shakers - Great Food, Drinks and Conversation. Perry's on the Embarcadero has the same smart style and appeal as Perry's on Union St. but it is definitely au courant and the views are fantastic. There is always lively conversation and debate about the day's events, great drinks and very good food.

The Embarcadero location of this old-school boys-club style bar and restaurant features the same blue-chip menu, sports-oriented atmosphere and. The fourth location of this old-boy establishment and local institution sticks with the old and apparently trendproof Perry's formula: classic American food served in a clubby, sports-oriented atmosphere to an upscale but unfussy clientele. A mahogany bar, brick walls and a fireplace set a dark-but-warm tone, and there are spacious boothes and communals tables covered with classic checkered tablecloths although lunchers can opt for bistro style seating on the Embarcadero-facing patio for a lighter ambiance. The food really is all-American--think french onion soup gratinee, Maryland crab cakes, Cobb salad, club sandwich, ribeye steak, even spaghetti and meatballs--and foodie buzzterms ("locally grown", "hand-stirred", etc) are pleasantly absent from the menu. The full bar eschews "mixologists" for the old-school barkeep variety who may not use agave nectar or agricole rhum but do make a pitch-perfect martini and leave a man to his business.

"Is everything fabulous?". No, everything really wasn't fabulous, despite the server's goal to get me to say that it was. The food was only ok and the the service was spotty, alternating between overbearingly in my face and absolutely missing in action. It was fine, I guess, but if I had the decision to make over, I would have chosen another restaurant for dinner.

Not worth it. For the price, there are much better places to go in this city. The rack of lamb was so undercooked that the waitress noticed and came over to apologize. The desert tasted like it had been bought at safeway and a sauce had been added from a can. Sure, it was sweet, but for a nice dining experience you want more. In addition to the mediocre food, the service was bad from start to end. The hostess looked up from a stack of menus to ask my name, and without saying a word or checking for my reservation went back to organizing. Our waitress kept bringing wrong items to the table, although she was very nice about it. Finally, they refused to accept a gift certificate, claiming their management had changed as of January 1st. They did not make any attempt to honor it or apologize for the confusion.

Slow Service. Took 1 hour 45 minutes for 3 lunch salads and 1 dessert! Not recommended for those on a time schedule.
