Cilantro Mexican Restaurnt

On an unassuming block in Polk Gulch you'll find the lime-green entry to Cilantro, a Mexican restaurant with flavorful, handmade, traditional dishes.

Bright green paint and a large wall mural adorn the entrance to Cilantro, a small Polk gulch taqueria. Unlike most taquerias, this one's a sit-down joint, serving traditional favorites like pozole, burritos, and tacos, with vegetarian options and salads available. Chile rellenos are roasted and filled with hunks of queso fresco and flavorful chicken, or try another specialty, the mar y tierra (surf and turf) tacos. Tortillas and highly-spiced sauces are handmade on premise. Surprisingly, their namesake ingredient cilantro is not prevalent.
